Subhadra ~ The Altruistic One

[Chapter 9]

                 ' HER FIRST DAY '

Indraprastha

Arjun Subhadra chamber

As the sunlight entered from the slight gap between the curtain and fell on Arjun face . He rubbed his hand on his eyes before opening it and looking at the surrounding .

He opened his eyes and spotted a sleeping figure on the side of bed sleeping peacefully .

Subhadra being a night attracted person sometime found it difficult to get up early .

Arjun was observing the beautiful figure of his wife .

Subhadra face was enlighten as rays of sun were approaching her sight . Her dupatta was slightly moved upward revealing her bare waist and one of the sleeves of her blouse was slightly down of her shoulder and her face consisting a small smile. In all she looked breath-taking .

The slight desired of making her mine only mine crept in
Arjun mind .

Now Arjun was embarrassed on himself on thinking such a things and quickly washed out that idea and covered Subhadra with a blanket .

Arjun was now sure that he likes her  or may be more than that because he was never so comfortable and impressed by any princess but Subhadra was different .

By taking last glanced on her he left for his daily chores.

After sometime Subhadra also got up and astonished to see blanket covering her .

" I think Arjun did this" she whispered to herself and smiled appeared on her face .
"Why I am smiling by thinking about him ? I am gone crazy " she thought and realisation strikes her that today was her first day here . She needed to be more responsible now .

Subhadra hurriedly left bed and went to take a bath as dasis helped her . After taking bath she felt relaxed and refresh .

Subhadra was sitting infront of mirror and dasis was helping her to wear jewellery . Her handmaid made her ready . She was wearing beautiful red lehenga with gold and diamond jewellery . As it was here mere first day  so she was restricted to wear this all . After all she was a new wedded bride .

Subhadra looked at mirror for last time and left the chamber making her way to temple . She was engrossed in her thoughts and suddenly bumped into a hard chest . She got startled and looked up to meet knowing copper eyes .

" I think Dwarka princess is a little bit clumsy " Arjun said raising his eyebrows mischievously .

" I am not a clumsy Arjun "she said and adjust her lehenga properly .

" Oh really , I see " he added further .

" Now please stop teasing me and tell me what I have to do now ? " She asked him seriously .

" First we must visit temple after that their is some rituals and your first rasoi also ." Arjun told her .

Subhadra nodded and said " let's go then and  I also have to decide what to cook? "

" You know how to cook right ?" Arjun asked her . He didn't know why but he was enjoying a lot talking to her while knowing he was speaking useless .

Subhadra gave him questioning looked.

" You will see that " she replied him and Started to walk towards temple followed by a smiling Arjun .

After worshipping the god . Subhadra moved towards the kitchen area and Arjun towards rajyasabha.
