They both go inside & he locks the door quickly "Now what did you wanna talk about?" She asks rapping her arms around his neck looking into his eyes "I'll tell you later go upstairs & relax I'll be there a minute ok" he tells her kissing her nose "Carter why are you so jumpy baby what's going on?" She asks looking at him with a concern look on her face.

"Nothing baby I'm good just relax Ima be there in minute, Oh I got the paint for the baby's room" he tells as he tries to lead her upstairs.

There's a knock on the door

"I'll get it" she says "No I got it just go upstairs baby please" he says & she folds her arms & she goes upstairs in her sons room & she sees the tubs of blue paint & the brushes, she goes into her room to put on her painting clothes & socks. She tries to open the tub of paint so she goes downstairs to see if Carter can go open she hears his conversation "So the shipment comes in tomorrow & we got get rid of it in 2 days that nigga August couldn't last in this business so he is officially out & my pops left me in charge so I guess I gotta take over his operation then pops what happens from there?" He says to his father "Well son I pass everything down to you & you take my place" he say to him looking him like a man of business. "I know you didn't want me in this business if it's what I gotta do then I gotta handle my business then but I don't want Onika to know anything about this, I love that girl to the death of me if something happens to her I'm out you give my sit to the next runner up" he says looking at his father a very serious like his own "You have my word nothing will happen to Onika I put that on my life" Carter Sr. says to his son "Good so I guess I run things now" he says "I believe so as of right now I'm retired you have a long legacy to live up to son & remember don't trust no one, only trust you & yourself & you gut" he says looking at him "Yeah pops I got you" he says looking at him.
