Aurora watched him from the distance. How he sat on the edge of the cliff looking at the sea. He was there since so many days now. She was deeply worried about him and she felt it. She knew why he felt like this. He was blaming himself for what happened so many years ago. Even though it wasn't his fault.
She sighed and stept closer to him. She knew he heard her and that he simply didn't react.
"Kurama" She spoke and sat beside him. "You have to forgive yourself"
he didn't answer her and only gave her a side glance. She could see all the pain in his dark eyes and it hurt her. She wanted to hug him so badly.
"I can't forgive myself. I hurt you... I hurt everyone of my friends. Do you know how terrible this is?"
He turned his head to look at her. His once beautiful eyes had completely lost their shine.
"I'm a monster, Aurora"
"This wasn't your fault, Kurama" He shook his head and said, "It was... If I had just fight against it... None of this would have happened"
She knew that this wasn't true and that he was looking for reasons to blame himself. She placed her hand on his head and sat, "Stop blaming yourself"
"I still love you, Aurora" He said suddenly. She already knew this. She still could feel the love he had for her. She herself didn't feel this way anymore. "I know" she whispered and looked at the sunset.
"You love Olivia. I'm aware of this" He said and looked at the sunset.
"I hope she can give you the happiness that I couldn't give you" He smiled sadly at her.
"...I hope that you can forgive yourself"
He didn't say anything and only stared at the ocean.
She sighed and stood up.
Both of them know that nothing would be like before ever again.
