Before I start this story I want to give you a description of each character that'll be in this chapter. Isa, is the mother of Nova and wife of Jay, she's a smart, hardworking, and caring mother. She has long, straight black hair, blue eyes and is athletic. Jay is the father who is a smart ass but is also caring, strict, and is quite anxious. Jay has curly brown hair, brown eyes and has dimples, he also likes working with computers. Nova is the daughter of these two, she's quiet, dependent on others, but will also try her hardest if she feels that she can actually achieve it. Nova has wavy brown hair and brown eyes, likes art and music.

Also this is a scary story and will have gory parts so if you don't like that, don't read it.

A little girl and her family are packing up to go on a trip. Sounds of the city surrounds them as they're putting their stuff in the car, parked on the street, almost ready to go. "Alright that should be everything!" Says the mom, double checking the things in the trunk. Feeling that everything was there, she went into the car, the father beside her pulling up the map on his phone. "Alright Nova, ready to go?" With no response she looks back, expecting her daughter to be sitting there in the backseat, music blasting in her ears but she isn't there. The mother then turns to the father, "I thought she was in here with you?"

"I thought she was out there with you." The mother, Isa, sighs and gets out of the car.

"Nova? Come on, did you forget something?" Silence, she then looks around the city, 'someone didn't take her did they?' "Nova?! Nova!!" Then comes the daughter down the steps to their house, pillow in hand, earbuds plugged into her iPod, walking along oblivious to her mother's concern. Isa sighs, "let's just go."

Driving to the airport, Isa thought about how much she and her family needed this vacation. She personally was feeling exhausted from her work, although she loved being able to help others as a physical therapist, she wasn't a fan of some of the patient's snappy attitudes. She couldn't blame them however, seeing things, as well as getting hurt while being in the military, can really effect a person.

Hearing a slight snore, she turned to the passenger seat, her husband, Jay must've fell asleep. She then did a peek in her review mirror to see that her daughter had also zonked out, as usual. She gently took the phone from her husband's hands to her lap, deciding to let him sleep. Usually he'd stay up, talking about random topics to make the drive go faster as well as help her navigate traffic since she herself hated technology. She'd always end up getting so frustrated with the device that she'd sometimes could cry. In all of her 35 years she has never actually liked it, usually just making her mad instead.

In her husband's case, work has also been very frustrating, everything they do was being marked down to the second, even for lunch if they were a minute late, he'd get chewed out by his boss. It didn't help that their work was very far behind either, so he had to work a lot of overtime and he'd have to come in on days that he'd usually have off. Her daughter as well has been a lot more quiet than normal, her usual outgoing, happy self has turned more quiet and withdrawn. While she doesn't try to show it to her or Jay, she can tell somethings really bothering her, sometimes she'll hear soft crying coming from her room. Whenever she tries to ask, her daughter turns away and refuses all of it. Whatever's happening she hopes that this trip will lift her spirits, to make her feel better, well enough to tell what's happening. She doesn't wanna force her, she'll just wait until she's ready.

The plane finally touched down after several hours of flying, landing in Florida at 3:00pm. They'd planned to go to a resort by the beach for a week and fly back after. Just by looking outside Isa felt better, the weather clear, sun shining down on them from above. She saw the people below, scrambling around their plane, checking if everything is okay and getting the luggage off for people to collect it later.
