-Jay's POV-

I sat there in silence, Lola not offering anything for conversation, not that I'd want her to right now. Isa is looking better, she I seems to lay more relaxed yet she has short breaths which are I worrying me. I'm starting to get antsy, hating the way I can't do anything in this situation. I decide that I can't stand it anymore and get up from my spot. Lola shoots me a look of wonder and I just reply, "I'm going to look for water, I'm sure she'll need it when she wakes up." I continue without looking for her reaction, not caring enough in this moment for her opinion. I make my way through the door and back out into the hallway. There are several doors on each side as well as one at the end of the hallway. I try my luck with the first door on my left. I open the door and turn on the light switch, illuminating the small room. It was sparsely filled with filling cabinets, seeming to be a utility room, meaning it had nothing of what I needed. I closed the room and kept looking for something I could give Isa. I went to the last door on the right, the last one before the door to the end of the hallway, feeling quite anxious now. If these two last rooms didn't have anything then Isa, Isa won't be doing well, then I would have to go back to the resort. I didn't want to think about it though because that means that I'd have to face that monster again, with nothing to protect me.
'CLICK'
"Step away from my fucking door or I swear you're going to lose that hand of yours."
I froze, my hand just hovering over the doorknob. I turn my head to face an older man, gun in hand, pointed right at me.
Seeing my lack of movement the man shouted, "I said back the fuck away!" and with that I quickly stepped back from the door, putting my hands in the air. "What the hell are you doing, breaking into my building, pushing my shit onto the floor and getting all that damn blood on my tables. Now get the fuck away from my trophy room, and get your sorry asses out of here."

"Sir, my wife, she needs water, that's all that I ask."

"And why should I do that?" He said almost mockingly.

I was so shocked, first off, I never even saw the man get behind me. Then he knows that we are in here and that my wife is bleeding and doesn't care to help? I could feel myself getting mad at this point. While it is true that we had broken into this man's building and used some of his things to help Isa, can't he see the position that we are in. No he does, he just doesn't care. "Excuse me?"

"Why the fuck should I help you?"

"My wife is hurt, she was bleeding out, she almost died from that monster!"

"Exactly, I've seen that thing, wondering around in my cameras, I've heard the screams, now why the hell should I help a half dead woman, a stick thin lady, and you who looks like he is running around with his head up his ass."

I could only scoff at the man, what a prick! However the image of Isa laying on the table, face scrunched in pain shot through my mind. I forcefully calmed myself down, seeing what I have seen from this man in these few moments, I was going to have to convince him of our worth or he wouldn't think twice about throwing us right in front of that monster. No sob story was going to change his mind, I would have to tell him something that would convince him that he needed us and not the other way around. "Alright jackass, we have information about the monster." Straight to the point, I don't think he is one to listen to a long explanation anyways. While it may be a stretch to say that 'we' have knowledge about the monster, surely Lola does. With those few words, it seemed to have got the man's attention.

"The one from the government building?"

I tried my best to keep a straight face, that was surely news to me, but guessing that there isn't anything like that ever running around, all i could do was nod and hope that was the answer the man was looking for. The man then lowered his gun, seeming to think about my words. He then raised it again and asked, "how do I know you're not bullshitting me?"

"Guess you'll have to see after you help me first, how will I know if you will help me otherwise?" I said putting on a brave face but in reality I was shaken up inside, this is the first time that I've been held at gun point. Shit was just flying out of my mouth hoping that I could convince him of anything but how I'm really feeling right now.

He grumbled and shoved his gun back into his holster. He then opened the door at the end of the hallway, seeming to be a conference room of some sort. He then opened the mini fridge with a bang, making me flinch, and to that he smugly smirked. I could tell what he had thought of me but considering that I was able to get this far, I wasn't going to comment on his behavior. He then tossed, or more like threw a water bottle at me, and to his surprise I caught it with one hand. He shrugged it off and blew past me, purposely bumping my shoulder. 'What an ass' I thought to myself, 'guess we are back to high school?'

He preceded to blast open the door with unnecessary force, startling Lola and causing Isa to groan at the loud noise.
Lola recovered fast and simply said "new friend I see" and to that I roll my eyes,

"sure."

"Wait a damn minute, you" the man said shoving a finger in her face, "why do you look familiar."

Me and Lola looked at each other, both not knowing what was going on, she was more glaring at me too, I could almost hear her thoughts 'what wacko have you brought and get him out'.

"You, you were the one running away from the lab!"

To that Lola whips her head back to the man in shock. That made me take a step back too, 'the lab? Like a science lab? She said that she was a janitor which obviously was a lie, so she's a scientist?'

The man the started to laugh in almost a sick manner, "so it was you that brought that monster over here. Great fucking job princess, how does it feel being the cause of how many peoples death, how are their screams, are they just ringing in those ears of yours?"

I see Lola's face go from shock to the lack of any emotion, while I know I don't have any clue of what's going on, I know that this man has taken things too far. "What the hell man, first get out of her face and explain what is going on."

"Oh, OH she didn't tell you. Now I know you didn't know about the monster, but I thought you were telling me out of spite for her. HA ha hahahahahahaha aaaah ha. This bitch, she was the one that let that monster escape, their little science experiment got loose. Now I'm sure that the others just left but why are you still here?"

"No"

"No?" He said snarkily.

"THEYRE DEAD" she yelled back.

To that the man just scoffed. "Doesn't change much. Now are you going to willingly clean up your mess." He said shoving a finger in her chest, "or will I have to force you."

To that Lola slapped his hand away. "Willingly, but with a price." He just glared back. "Give us your gun, that seems a fair trade, my information will save your life, and your gun will save mine. You seem like you'll be able to manage well enough without it, unlike us."

"How about I do you one better, tell me or I blow your fucking head off."

"Ah yes how useful I'll be dead, and you're still without the information you need, go ahead jackass." She said doing a bow. After a few seconds she stood back up and smirked knowing that he was just fuming inside. "How about you hand over that gun"

To that he grabbed her hair, pulling her right up into his face. "You will not tell me what to do, and there is no way I am giving you any of my trophies. Now you will listen and follow me. And to return your favor" He said looking at me, "I'll throw you guys in the mix, you've given me more than I hoped for, can't thank you enough. However I'm running things from here, only listen to what I say. You will refer to me as sir."
