-Third POV, Lola-

"Lola, thank you, I can carry her if you can get the door." He said picking up Isa.

"Come on now, let's hurry" Lola said, looking at a building near them. It was smaller than the resort behind them, seeming to be an electrical building of some sort, perhaps the one powering the island. Lola saw as she got closer that the door had a lock on it, one with a chain. She then tried pulling on the chains to test it's strength but it wouldn't give. She  looked around, trying to see if anything could help her. Lola's gaze went a jagged rock about the size of her fist. Seeming worthy for the purpose, she picked it up, the dirt which clung to it rubbed off onto her hands. Lifting it above her head she swung down at her target.

Clanking as it fell to the ground, it reminded her of an unwanted memory. She was back at her job, in her office as the announcement went on. "Warning, please remain calm, do not panic. Experiment 274 has escaped its glass cell. I repeat, experiment 274 has escaped its glass cell. As of right now it is unfamiliar with its surroundings so it my exhibit ferocious behavior. Please remain inside your rooms while the situation is handled. We will keep you updated with further news." Then the horror began, the claws hitting the tile floor, a low grumble coming from 274, and the shriek of her fellow coworker. 'This was supposed to be my last day at this messed up place, why now of all times, why?' Lola thought to herself. She herself had never fully been okay with what was going on here when she learned it's true purpose, what happened behind the scenes. This was something they shouldn't of messed with. She then could hear a loud metallic thud, a body seeming to be thrown into an exposed pipe in the hall. Then the screaming man turned silent and at that moment she knew how badly she needed to leave.

Shaking the memory away, she opened the door, looking around anxiously while holding it open for Jay to walk through. After they went through, Lola slowly closed the door behind them, engulfing them in the darkness of the building. She felt along the smooth cold wall, hoping for a light switch.  Feeling the notch, she flicked it up, lighting up the small corridor. "Set her down here, stay with her." Lola commanded, she was used to situations like these. She watched him obey, setting her down lightly, sitting down beside her. Lola in a hurried pace traveled the empty hall searching for a medkit to help Isa.

-Jay-
Jay watched her leave without a sound, or it being covered by the sirens, he couldn't tell. She seemed to be a quiet yet cold person, and even though he didn't have time to think earlier, she seems quite suspicious. Though in this situation, he can't be picky, not with his wife's life on the line.
A few minutes later Lola came back, medkit in hand. "I saw a workshop on the way over, pick her up and follow me." He once again followed her instructions, slowing picking her up and carrying her there. "Here just a second, let me remove the tools here." She said throwing them to the side, motioning after to set Isa on the now clean table. "Now I'll need you to hold her down, she might wake up as I'm stitching her. Stay focused, this will be the worst part."

She wasn't wrong either, it was hard for Jay to see the complete anguish on Isa's face, he wasn't prepared for it. He felt helpless seeing her in agony, just knowing that he couldn't do anything tore himself up inside. Isa ended up fainting once again to the pain, a silent tear falling slowly down her pale face. He watched it fall, not able it look away as it dropped down to the table. He didn't even look over when Lola started talking to him.

"As I said, that was the worst of it, now she'll be on the path to recovery, are you okay?"

"I will be." He responded without too much emotion. With that Lola just looked away, not prying anymore. After a few moments of silence, Jay spoke once more, "you said you have a way to find my daughter?"
