So today was a Sunday and guess what Jennie is still working. Like I mean I wanted to give her a holiday but my mom and sister just can't live without her. They have become just so lazy even if they have to tie their shoe laces they ask or say command her to tie them. So we were in the living room and then the door bell rang.
"Jennie open the door" my mom said
"Yes ma'am " she said and opened the door, it revealed Irene, her mom and dad. Well Irene and I used to study in school , well we are not friends but our parents are, she keeps on seducing me but I don't get seduced.
"Oh my god I knew you would come it's been a long time I have seen you Mi-So (Mi-So) oh my god Irene has grown up and she's looking beautiful no namjoon?" She asked me. I was busy staring at Jennie
"Namjoon? I asked you something " my mom said
"Mom I need to attend a phone call let me go" I said and left. Damn why does this stupid bitch Irene have to come here. I just waited and went back
"Namjoon take Irene in your garden please" my mom said. I just shook my head saying no
"Cmon namjoon Don't be like that take her" my mom said glaring at me
"O ok fine" I said as Irene got up and smirked at me. I gave her an expression less face. I took her in the garden
"OMG namjoon your garden is amazing" she said as she ran around just like how a kid runs in a candy store. I just looked at her with a disgusted look. Then I heard a sweet voice coming from one of the window.
"Lavenders blue dilly dilly lavenders green when I'm king dilly dilly you shall be queen" that person sang. I went to the place where that voice was coming from. I saw who was it and guess what it was Jennie. She was playing our piano. I went behind her and just closed my eyes and listened to her sweet melodious voice. After she finished I clapped my hands. She turned around and gasped she got up
"I'm so sorry sir I just saw this and thought of playing it I'm so sorry I touched this expensive piano sorry" she said as she bowed her head
"No no you play it beautifully actually no one plays it my mom just bought it as you know she keeps on spending money" I said. I wanted to confess but she left the room.
"When will that time come?" I said as I scratched the back of my head.
In the living room.......
"So when are we going to announce Namjoon's and Irene's engagement ?" Irene's mom asked
"Tomorrow I have told our personal assistant to arrange everything " my mom said (by the way I wasn't present)
"And the wedding? " Irene's father asked
"Next week" sister said
"Oh wow! Namjoon is gonna be my husband wow" Irene said as she ran around the room. My mom and sister were looking at her in disgust.
The announcement day
"Namjoon my son are you ready?" My mom asked
"Yes mom But why do I have to get ready?" I asked as I was confused
"It's a surprise announcement" my sister said
Then they took me down. I saw our living room was beautifully decorated

Everyone including media was there even that bitch Irene but I was confused about why she was dressed up almost like a bride. I looked out for Jennie and saw her arranging flowers in the vase. She looked stunning. Even though she hadn't put makeup she looked extremely beautiful. My mom then called me to sit and I sat in the middle Irene came and sat next to me she smiled at me but I didn't smile . Then my mom started
"Hello good evening everybody we have gathered for a very special announcement " my mom said
"Is it about an opening of a new resort? Or a success party" a reporter asked
"No no it's the announcement of an engagement " she said
I looked at my mom. She smiled at me and turned her head in the front
"So my son the owner is going to get engaged to Miss Irene who is the daughter of the owner of IRENE TOURISM the biggest tourism company in Asia " my mom said as I looked at her in shocked. My mom looked at me and laughed
"I'm damn sure you're shocked but you're happy right?" She said
I looked around and saw Jennie nowhere to be seen. I just left from there and went to find her. I saw her in her tiny room crying. Does she love me? I don't know 🤷♂️. She saw me and whipped her tears
"Congratulations sir on your engagement I got you a gift it's made by me handmade I know it's not expensive but I made it with my own hands and heart. " she gave it to me and left.
I just felt all my dreams shattered. Who's coming between me and Jennie? That stupid Irene .
I went backed to the hall. I saw Irene she came to hug me but I went in another way.
"Mom did you ask me whether I want to get engaged to her or not?" I asked my mom as I took her at a side
"No joonie I'm not making her marry you because i want you to love her I look according to profit. If you will marry her, then we will sign a deal with her fathers company and then we will become even more rich" she said as she laughed
"Mom just for money? How can u be so greedy? Marriage is where two families connect" I said
"That I don't care all I think is about money money and only money money speaks in today's world getting it? And your wedding is next week." She said and left
Then I was tensed. I went to my room and sat on the bed. I thought some while and then an idea popped in my head
"Yes! I will confess to her at my wedding in front of the whole world" I said and smiled....
