Happiness begins

(Jennie's pov)

I woke up in the morning and saw namjoon wasn't there on his side. I checked my phone as I always do and saw his message.

Hi jendukie,

Since I have an important work, I had to leave early I'll come back by evening

Your joonie 💖 

I then brushed my teeth, took a shower and wore my clothes, I went down and saw Namjoon's mom and sister sitting at the dinning table

"Come come miss Jennie sit down after all we can't tell you anything as you're Namjoon's girlfriend "  she said with sarcasm which made me a bit sad

After breakfast, I just went to paint and then afterwards I just heard screams and I went to check I saw that Namjoon's pet dog, Monie running around his mom actually she doesn't like dogs. They were running throughout the house and then they went at the swimming pool area, then his mom slipped and fell in the pool she was drowning, and Namjoon's sister was panicking.

"Oh help help my mom" she screamed, without thinking, I jumped in the pool and swam towards her, I reached and then called out

"Ma'am grab my hand "I said and she nodded and grabbed my hand , I took her out of the pool

"Ma'am are you Ok" I asked

"I I can't breathe" she said

"Get the medical kit immediately "  I said and the servant went and got the kit. I dried her with a clean dry towel and then I gave her the oxygen mask and made her wear it

"Ma'am breathe normally" I said and she followed my instructions . We then took her to her room and made her lie down. I gave her some cold compression as she was down with fever. In an hour the fever settled down. I made her some light dinner

"Maam please eat this" I said

"No no I don't want to eat" she said

"Maam please eat it you will feel good and your health will be better"  I said

and she ate it. Afterwards I went to keep the dishes in the kitchen. Then I saw Namjoon's sister come and hug me. I was quite surprised but I hugged her back

"Forgive me jennie for all what I have said to you , today your acts of kindness, was something which made me learn a very important lesson, that is to show kindness to anyone whether it's a rich or a poor person and namjoon was right you are the one we must not look only for advantages. Sorry Jennie I'm extremely sorry  if you wouldn't be there what would happen to mom" she said and she stared to cry

"Shh Don't cry everything is fine I'm there no?" I said and hugged her

"I'll call you sis from now" she said

"Ok no problem " I said and we both smiled. I could see her genuineness 

We then went to Namjoon's moms room

She was sleeping , we were about to leave then I felt someone hold my wrist, I saw it was Ma'am

"Ma'am What happened?" I asked

She got up and sat next to me

"Jennie forgive me for the way I have spoken to you for these 2 long years , the way I have treated you , even though I mean nothing to you, you risked your life just to save me thank you jennie please forgive me"  she said

"It's fine ma'am " I said

"Don't call me ma'am now change that ma'am to mom I know your parents are dead even thought I'm not your real mom but I'm not less than your mom" she said and smiled

"Ok mom" I said and she smiled

She came and hugged me 

"My daughter" she said

"What about me?" Namjoon's sister said

"Come come" Jennie said and we three hugged.

(Namjoon's pov)

I returned home. And I was thinking about how they must have treated Jennie, I entered from the back door 🚪 of the house and then entered the living room but didn't see anyone there, then when I went in the garden I see Jennie, my mom and sister laughing and Jennie was playing the guitar and my mom hugged her was I dreaming? I pinched myself and saw that I wasn't dreaming.

"Oh namjoon come sit" Jennie said

"Jendukie can you teach me how to play the guitar ?" My mom asked. Wait what did she just call Jennie jendukie? Wow 

"Oh yes mom I'll teach you tomorrow " she said

"Ok teacher" she said and we all laughed 

After dinner my mom came to me

"Joonie forgive me Irene was correct Jennie is the one if she wouldn't be there, probably you wouldn't have seen me and she literally was by my side when no one was and she literally brought us closer made us happy she's the one. Namjoon she's like my daughter please don't hurt her promise me" she said

"I promise"  namjoon said and then I came

"I'll just go enjoy lovebirds "  she said and went. I just leaned forward and kissed his lips, he was shocked but he responded, I was about to break it but he tugged on my lower lip and I aggressively started kissing him, I tongues swirled around and then I bit his lip and broke the kiss. I felt shy and was about to run but he grabbed my waist.

"I love u"  he said

"Love u too"  I said and kissed his cheek
