The Secret That We Keep - WDW and Friends

Part 1

Today is the day Christina and I release our first merch collection. I'm super excited because we worked so hard on it and it just shows how far we've come. I'm also super scared though. There is so much that can go wrong but I hope none of that happens.

We decided to go to Starbucks to calm our nerves. We just got out of the uber and made our way inside to order. After we got our drinks we were headed towards a table when I ran into someone. "Shit, I'm so sorry!" I say as my coffee spills all over the both of us. I look up and see a guy around my age maybe a few years older. He got brown hair swooshed over to one side of his head, and blue eyes, almost like mine.

"It's fine. I wasn't looking where I was going." He says as I run back to the counter for some napkins to clean what coffee spilled on the floor. "Here let me help you."

"No it's fine. It's my mess, I should clean it up. Christina can you find us a table?" I say turning to her. (This is in a world without Covid) She nods and walks off to find a table.

"I'm helping. I helped create the mess so I should help clean it up." The guy said crouching down to meet my level on the ground. "I'm Christian." He said putting his hand out.

"Wynter with a y," I say shaking it.

"Well, Wynter with a y, you seem like you'd make a great friend. Could I possibly get your number?" Christian asked.

"Uh, sure why not. Let's finish cleaning this up though." I say laughing a little. We finished cleaning up the coffee and exchanged numbers. "It was nice meeting you Christian. I hope to see you again soon."

"You too, and you know what, me and my brothers are having a little get together tonight. You can come if you'd like. I'll send you the address if you do." He says.

"Sure, can I bring my sister? Wherever I go she tends to follow." I say giggling.

"Yeah, she can come. The more the merrier." He said chuckling. "See you later Wynter." He said starting to walk away.

"See you later Christian." I say and wave as he walks out the door. He waved back before the door closes behind him. I go back to the counter and order a new coffee. When I get it, I go find Christina.

"So, who was that?" She asked as I sat down across from her.

"His names Christian. He invited us to a little get together him and his brothers are having later tonight. We don't have to go to go if you don't want to though." I say with a smile.

"Well would you look at that. The girl who said we can't have friends is going out and making some." She said sarcastically laughing at the end.

"Look I don't want to be lonely for the rest of my life. He seemed like a nice guy so I decided why not try and step out of my comfort zone." I say laughing with her.

"Do you like him or something? This is so unlike you." She asked slightly confused.

"No, he's a good looking guy, don't get me wrong. But I feel he's be more of a brotherly type to us. We have no family left and I feel as though he might help us make a new one. They may find out the secret but it's a risk I'm willing to take now. If I would've meet him a few years ago I would've turned down this offer, but after mom died I felt like I needed to rebuild the family we had before. I love you Christina but I need new people in my life as well as you." I say.

"Wow, I like this side of you. I wish I could see it more often." She said with a smile.

"You will. She's a permanent part of me now." I smile back at her.

"Shit, we need to get back to the apartment so we can go live before the merch drops in half an hour!" She said standing up.

I stand up as well and we rush outside. Fortunately I had ordered an uber before I sat down with Christina so it was already here. We got in and gave him the address of the apartment complex. When we got there we rushed out of the car and ran to the elevator inside the building. Once the elevator reached out floor we ran out and to our apartment. Once we got inside we grabbed the masks we wear off the counter and I ran to my room to get my laptop and camera. I quickly connected the camera to my computer and set it beside the laptop on the coffee table. I turned it on and made sure it could see both of us. I opened YouTube and hit go live. Not long after people started to join the live.

"Hey everyone! You may be a little confused as to why we randomly went live and as to why I have coffee all over me. First, we have a special announcement to make but we can't do that just yet. We're gonna say closer to time but for now we can answer some questions for you guys. And second, I ran into someone when we went to Starbucks earlier and we rushed back here to go live and I didn't get time to change." I say cheerfully and laughing.

Questions started to roll in and for the next 20 minutes we answered questions. About 5 minutes before the drop my phone rang. I picked up and it was Fanjoy saying that we should announce the drop. "Ok guys, that was a company we've been working with for the past couple of months. They said now would be a good time for the special announcement!"

"So as some of you may know we've been working with Fanjoy. We finished the designs a few weeks ago and got the prototypes shortly after. We are super excited to finally say that the merch is coming out, and it'll be out sooner than you may think. The merch collection will be up at 1:30PM PST, 4:30PM EST, so in about five minutes. We realize that that's not enough time for you guys to relate for it but we wanted to wait till the day of to tell you guys!" Christina said excited.

The comments started to pick up speeds and i saw a bunch about who they were so excited for the drop. "We are so glad you excited but please don't feel obligated to buy the merch because you think you have to go show your support. The only support we need from you guys is you followings along our journey of life. If you don't have much money I ask that you don't buy the merch. It may show that you support us but you life is more important to us than you guys showing us that you will support us. You can do whatever you want with your money but if you don't have much please don't buy the merch. There's a way you may be able to get your hands on for free in the near future so don't worry about that." I say with a smile.

More comments rolled in and we answered some more questions. "Ok guys the merch is dropping soon. The page is up but the merch isn't for sale yet. Go to fanjoy.co/wynterandchristina to be the first people to get it!" I say.

A few minutes later the merch was finally up. "The merch just went up for sale. If your already on the website refresh your page and you should be able to buy the merch!" Christina said.
