It's been about a week since we watched the premiere of the Lotus Inn music video. Christina and I have gotten a lot closer with the boys and Christian is now my best friend. The people I've gotten closest to are, Corbyn, Kevin, Franny, Nezza and obviously Christian. Honestly I've never been proud of being clumsy until now because if I wasn't I never would have meet the amazing people that are sitting in front of me now.
(This is the day before they are leavening for NYC.)
"Hey guys. I'm so glad you could all make it today because Christina and I have something really Important we need to tell you." I say and everyone seems to move forward intrigued at what I just said.
"So as you all know Wynter and I have a secret that could quite possibly break our friendship. We really hope that it doesn't because we haven't opened up to anyone sense our parents died a few months ago and even when they were alive they were the only ones that knew." Christina said.
"No matter what you say we'll be hear. Some of us have already seen a part of the secret and we are all still here. We aren't going anywhere. Your stuck with us whether you like it not." Christian said coming over to me and pulling me into a hug.
"Thank you Christian, but you can't make that promise until you actually know what it is." I say.
"I can and I just did. Raise of hands, who agrees with me?" Christian asked turning towards the group of friends.
Everyone raised their hands. "Thank you guys. This truly does mean a lot but like Wynter said you can't make that promise until you know what it is." Christina said backing us up.
"I hate having to say this but we, uh... we need a volunteer. Someone has to cut themselves. It can be on any exposed part of your body. The hand, your wrist." I say.
"I'll do it." I hear Corbyn say.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Christina asked.
"I'm sure. I trust you guys more than I trust my own band mates and I've known them a hell of a lot longer." Corbyn says with a chuckle.
"Ok, uh... does anyone have like a pocket knife or something?" I asked. Christian had gone and sat done and Kevin pulled out what appeared to be a pocket knife. He stood up and handed it to me. "You don't mind if I cut you hand, right?" I asked Corbyn. He just shook his head no. I looked into his and said, "This won't hurt. Don't wince in pain and don't flinch when I go to cut your hand." He nodded his head and I opened the knife making a small cut on the palm of his hand. Everyone stared in shock as to why Corbyn did exactly what I said.
"How did you do that?" Crawford said in awe.
"It's part of what I am." I say casually. I pulled his hand to just below my nose and smelled his blood letting the veins under my eyes come out and letting my eyes turn there gold color. Everyone in the room just sat there in confusion but they seemed to be intrigued even more.
"What the hell just happened?" Kevin randomly blurted out.
"We are hybrids. Your probably wondering what the hell I mean by that and I mean we are half vampire half werewolf. We were born werewolves but no one in our family new about the werewolf gene that took place in our fathers bloodline. Our mother knew this very powerful witch that agreed to turn us into vampires as a form of protection from disease, and the werewolves that took over our land. We didn't find out about our werewolf side until we made our first human kill. It activated and we turned on the spot not even knowing what was happening until we turned back. Our mother was just a normal vampire but me, our father, and Christina are all hybrids. Do you guys remember how we told you our parents died in a car crash?" I say. They all nod. "That's not what happened. They were murdered by vampire hunters. Killed right in front of us. Their hearts were ripped from their chests and right before the hunters could kill Christina and I we killed them first. It wasn't as brutal as our parents death but it wasn't what we wanted our lives to turn into. We hadn't killed someone since the curse had activated and those hunters just had to come along." I say on the verge of tears.
I look over and see that tears are clearly running down Christina's face and I couldn't hold the tears anymore. They were now flowing down my face and before I knew it I felt two arms wrap around me. I look to see how it is and find that it was Christian. I hug him back and just cried into his shoulder. I had seen that Franny and Nezza were comforting Christina.
After I had calmed down I pulled away from Christian. "So, uh... do you guys have any questions? I'm sorry for the break down. They only person that knew the true story about our parents was Trey and we haven't told the story in almost 3 years." I say.
"It okay. We are all here for you. We made a promise and we never break promises. You guys can trust us. We won't say anything." Christian said wrapping an arm around my shoulder. I'm am so glad I meet him. He's the closest thing I have to brother.
"Thank you. All of you really. But I was serious when I asked if you had questions. Trey had asked a lot when he found out." I say laughing slightly.
"So uh, how old are you guys?" Crawford asked.
"We are about 1,000 years old. We are the first vampires to ever exist so we are pretty old." Christina said laughing.
"Can you guys just give us a gist on everything?" Corbyn said.
"Yeah we can but I need to sit down first." I say. I walked over to the empty couch and sat down. Christian, Franny, and Nezza went and sat in the spots they were in before and Christina sat down beside me. "So I guess I'm gonna start with everything you need to know about vampires and then Christina can tell you about werewolves because she knows more about them than I do." I say and they all nod.
(Gotta end this one here but don't worry I'll explain everything in the next part.)
