Y/n's POV

*still at the café*

"In all honesty, we're here for something more than traveling." Gon spoke.

"Like what?" I asked.

"We're in search of Gon's aunt Mito." Kurapika answered. "She was kidnapped."

"We got a lead, were looking for a man named Sebastian Links, do you happen to know anything about him?" Killua asked me.

"Oh shit." I chocked on my chocolate milkshake.

"Is there something wrong?" "Leorio asked.

"That was my target," I stated. "I kinda already killed him..."

I saw the lights in their eyes fade.

"I-I'm so s-sorry... if I-I would've known-" I stuttered uncontrollably, I felt so bad.

Killua stopped me by putting his finger up to my mouth to silence me.

A blush rose to my cheeks, how embarrassing.

His eyes were soft and genuine, which allowed me to relax.

"Hey, it's alright." Killua reassured me. "You had no idea, you were just doing your job."

"It's okay Y/n, really." Gon spoke. "I'm sure we can find another lead."

"What did he know?" I asked.

"Supposedly he was working with one of the kidnappers," Kurapika said. "He had knowledge on Mito's whereabouts."

"I'm sor-" I began, being interrupted once more.

"It's okay!" Gon cut me off. "You don't need to apologize."

I gave him a smile in response.

"What do we do now?" Leorio asked.

"Hisoka and Illumi knew the guy, right?" Gon asked.

"Who's Hisoka?" I asked.

"Hisoka is-" Leorio began.

"-a pedophile clown that simps for Gon." Killua cut him off.

I choked on my chocolate milkshake again.

"Hey!" Gon yelled. "That's not true.. he just wants to fight me, that's all."

"The fuck-" I stared in confusion.

"Hisoka had always taken an interest in Gon, since we met him at the hunter exam." Kurapika explained.

"He has this thing where he gets turned on by powerful people," Leorio scratched the back of his head.

"Anyways, Hisoka and Illumi are friends." Killua continued. "They knew Sebastian somehow."

"How'd they know him?" I asked.

"No clue." Gon answered.

"We could ask them." Leorio suggested.

We all nodded.

"I'll ask Hisoka." Gon pulled out his phone.

"Do you want me to ask Illumi?" Killua asked.

"No," Gon shook his head. "He'll just cause trouble for you, you know he'll want something in return."

"True." Killua said.

"Okay, text sent." Gon said.

"We should all get your number, Y/n." Killua suggested.

"Okay," I smiled.

I gave them all my number.

"What now?" Kurapika asked.
