"So when do we start?" Chan asked me as he placed the tea cup on the table.
"I don't know, sir."
"Oh no. Please just call me Chan. I'm not that old yet to be called sir." He smiled.

I gave a questioned look at him and turned away.

"Well Chan, if you you want, you can start from tomorrow. His summer vacation starts in 3 days." Mom came in the room with some doughnuts.
"I'm fine with it. How about you, Felix?"
"I...I don't know. I don't want this."
"Heh?"
"Felix! Behave."

I went silent for the rest of the conversation. My parents enjoyed taking control over my life.

After Chan left I went to my room and lay on the bed.

"Felix, he is coming from the day after tomorrow. You are getting a day off. It's 4 days a week. 3 hours."

4 days a week with a guy? And 3 hours? I am going to die.

"Mom....knock before you come in."

She stood there silently for a while.

"Go take a shower then come downstairs to eat."
"I'm not hungry."
"Just do it."

Stop acting like you care. I'm tired of it.

"So you're telling me he has muscles? And he doesn't wear glasses but is very handsome? That sounds fishy." Jisung's eyes widened as he put a hand on his chin in detective style.
"I don't know man. Your prediction was all wrong." I chuckled.
"Maybe he is putting on a disguise."
"That sounds creepy but a hard thing to do."
"You never know."

I told Jisung about Chan when I came to school. I had English literature for 3rd period.

I found out I have been sitting beside this girl from the starting of the term but I never noticed. She had freckles like me and glasses on. She looked pale and flustered all the time. More importantly she had short wavy black hair that looked really soft. For a moment I wanted to touch them.

"Hey..um..." I cleared my throat and she looked at me. I almost laughed.
"Yes?"
"Um..your hair..they look nice."
"Um...thanks."
"Yeah. No worries. Erm...can I touch them?"

What the fuck Felix!? Why are you creeping people out?! She got startled for a moment then calmed down and looked at me. "Go ahead." I smiled softly and went closer towards her from my seat. As I almost touched her hair, I fell down on the ground from my chair. Fuck that hurts.

The commotion caused people look down and start laughing. The girl beside me was chuckling as well.

"Well well if it isn't Felix who fell down on the ground from your seat today. What happened exactly tho?" Jisung said in the lunch. Then I explained him what happened.

"Wow. Famous Felix fell down for a girl. A very hot topic!"
"Shut up, dude."
"Do you like her?"
"I don't even know her."
That's true, I didn't know her.

"Either ways what you did was creepy. I know you like skinship but don't cringe out people."
I kept quiet and put the greasy pizza in my mouth.

When I was thinking how to get over this, I saw her again. She was with some friends this time. Oh she looked me. Fuck. And smiled. I felt a heat catch up my face as I looked away.

I came home after school and went to my room as usual. Mom wasn't home. Maybe she has extra shifts today. I took a shower and sat on my computer. I went to Instagram and looked for Chan There was a lot of and I did get the person I was looking for.

Darn I was shocked....is he really going to be my tutor? He is nothing like one. He looks like some thug or some bad person. I so hate him.

The next day came so fast that I already found myself sitting  with Chan in the living room.

"So how is it going?" He asked.
"Fine. Where do you wanna do the teaching? Here or in my room?"
"Anything works."
"Alright, then follow me to my room."

He walked up following me there. I brought him an extra chair and sat beside him.

"Your mom said you're weak in maths."
"I'm not weak in anything particularly."
"Then why did you fail in your math test?"
"I solved only 2 problems."
"Why?"
"I didn't feel like it?"
"Why are you taking it so lightly? That test matters."
"It's just the first day, why are you being like this? Why don't you just stick to your job?"

He stayed silent for couple of moments.

"This is a part of my job too. To lead you. I'm a guide."
"Yeah..right."
"So if you didn't feel like solving the problems, is there anything that you feel like doing?"
"Yes, to have you leave this room." He chuckled softly.
"Rather than that?"
"I don't know."
"Anything you want to—
"Just mind your own business, mate."

He didn't say anything but started his session. I hopefully survived these 3 hours.

"Well then, I will see you again on Sunday." Chan said as he was leaving.
"I hope not." He smiled and started walking towards the main road. I closed the door and went upstairs to my room. How am I supposed to spend the rest of the summer with him?
