Falling Star

All was peaceful on Planet Popstar. Kirby was out on a walk through Whispy Woods, not a care in the world. He was mainly out looking for some kind of food.

Above the unsuspecting young Star Warrior's head, a rip in the fabric of space appeared. A rift. And out of that rift came a fiery meteor! But it wasn't just a meteor, it was a Star Ship! And inside was a Star Warrior, she was desperately trying to get the ship under control. She panicked and pressed buttons as the console began to smoke.

"SELF DESTRUCTION EMINENT" The Star Ship's computer said.

"WHAT?!" The Star Warrior exclaimed.

She panicked and looked around frantically. She saw what she was looking for, it was Galacta Knight's Warp Star. She reached for it, but the spaceship self-destructed, and she was flung out of the cockpit.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Kirby looked up at the massive explosion with concern.

"Poyo? (What was that?)" Kirby wondered.

He watched as fragments of metal rained down. In the midst of the destruction, a star fell by his feet. It was a Warp Star, but it was blackened so you could hardly see the yellow.

"Poy-yo? (Who's is that?" Kirby asked, "Poyo-yo...(I better keep it for safekeeping...)"

He picked up the star and pocketed it (even though he doesn't have pockets). Kirby ran off towards the castle.

Out of the wreckage, the female Star Warrior crawled out.

"Stupid parachute didn't even work!"

She looked up and saw a pink puffball make off with Galacta Knight's Warp Star.

"Hey, you! Sto-"

Her parachute deployed and covered her.

"ARG!"

She drew her two Y/FWs and sliced the chute up. She climbed out of the wreckage and trooped to the top of the hill. The Star Warrior could see Kirby run-up to a far-off castle. The draw bridge lowered and the puffball went inside.

Where she came from, NOWHERE was out of Nightmare's control. A Star Warrior would be prosecuted on the spot if detected. But that was a parallel universe. She didn't know what to expect here. So she approached the castle with caution.

"Hey! Can I talk to the person in charge here?" She shouted up at the guard tower.

She tapped her armored foot as she waited. Eventually, two armored knights peered over the edge.

"Who goes there?" The one in blue armor asked.

"State your name and business!" The green armored one shouted.

"My business is with the pink puffball that entered here moments ago. He has taken something dear to me and I would like it back." She replied.

"What about your name?" 

"That information I am not at liberty to give until I see who you work for."

The two knights looked at each other.

"Sorry! But we can't let you in unless you state your name!"

"Alright. I'll give you 5 seconds to lower the gate." She replied.

"Are you threatening us?" The green knight asked.

"Do you know who you're going against?"

"This is the castle of the almighty King Dedede!"
