Linda's pov
The woods seemed to get bigger and bigger as I ran. It feels like There's no way out. He was after me once again. But this time I was scared that I wouldn't wake up like I always did.
He was getting closer I knew if I let the fear consume me I wouldn't wake up in time.
I ran with one thing on my mind ...
I can't give in to it it's just a dream.
Jakes pov
Every day was harder and harder with out Linda by my side as Luna. I knew at some point I would not be good enough to lead this pack as an alpha yet again I stopped being a good alpha when I rejected Linda but I'm willing to win her back no matter what.
I knew I was gonna have to find a way to protect her even if we weren't on good terms.
But what scared me the most was not being able to have her as a mate, or better yet her finding a second chance mate.
I knew that Linda had nightmares from time to time and I could sense she was having one right now but I don't know what to do to help her. on every occasion I've tried to use our mind link to help wake her up but it only helps a little.
It's devastating to know the one you truly love is in pain because of something you've done.
Linda's p.o.v.
I could feel Jake trying to help me wake up and trust me it helped on these occasions a lot.

I woke up around midnight drenched in sweat. I decided to get up and shower. I changed and walked out the pack house and went straight to the woods. I knew it would be risky to go back to the blood lust pack but I had to go. I shifted and ran for two decent hours when I finally crossed the border and onto the blood lust territory.
I masked my scent and walked to the river I normally went when I was feeling down. The last person I expected to see was ............ Jake
