Jakes p.o.v.
Lunch was ending when i smelled the most intoxicating it smelled like cinnamon honey and sugar cookies my wolf was jumping with joy " FIND MATE" I did what my wolf told me and followed the smell it ended up leading to Linda Mathews.
I looked at her with pure disgust I didn't care what people thought of me but if people found out Linda was my mate it would be the most embarrassing thing ever so I said the one thing I knew would really hurt her "I Jake Black reject you Linda Mathews as my mate and Luna of the bloodlust pack" when those words left my mouth my wolf started whining and howling in pain knowing we just hurt her I didn't care I just smirked at her what she said just made me feel even better knowing the mate bond would be broken. "I Linda Mathews accept your rejection"
With that she left.
I didn't feel like going to the rest of my classes so I got in my car and left I had to tell my dad before he found out on his own i have a felling that this was going to be a long talk...

I had a bad feeling in my gut I think it has something to do with jake.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear in front of me stood my son I knew something was completely wrong because he never comes in with the look he has on his face " Jake what's going on ?" All I got was complete silence now I'm starting to get scared Jake is never like this so I decided to ask again "Jake what wrong?" I watched him cautiously he kept scratching his neck and decided to answer "Well um....I found my mate but I reacted her " "come again ?" " I found my mate and rejected her" I thought I was going crazy guess I was wrong " why the hell would you do that!" I really needed an answer "because she's and omega she's not fit to be a Luna just think of how many problems she's gonna cause us plus I don't want to people to know Linda Mathews is my mate that would just be embarrassing "

Jake screwed up real good i know she may end up leaving and he won't be able to take the pain I once thought about rejecting Sarah but I didn't because i knew I wouldn't be able to forgive my self if I did "son I don't know what your going to do if she leaves you , an alpha can't rule a pack with out his Mate if his mate is not there he will go crazy but it's your life and your decisions but let me tell you this you will regret rejecting her.

I couldn't take this anymore my dad was just saying crap so I could go to Linda and beg her to forgive me I wasn't going to stand there and listen to this crap and he did say ' it's your life and your decisions' that means he has no control over me I walked out of his office and slammed the door.

"Jamie (jakes wolf)wanna go on a run?"
"No" "why not?" "It's nothing lets go"
