GURA(SOUTHERN HAVEN, PRINCESS KRONEI'S CHAMBERS)

Her blue eyes, once bright and vibrant, were now dull and sad. She sat on the bed with her legs folded and her hands cuddling them, looking at the darkness all around —her eyes were the only form of light in the room. For a very long time, she had been like this—lost in void darkness. Emptiness. Happiness had ran away from her and didn't seem to be coming back. All her hopes had dissolved into thin air right before her eyes, leaving her miserable and vulnerable. She could remember how happy she felt—playing  with her sister under the two bright suns, the mild breeze stirring both their hairs, and from afar, their mother smiling happily at them. That was when she had lived. Now all around her was darkness. No sun, no breeze, no sister, no mother— just a father whom she was sure didn't care about her . They had covered the room windows with planks and long garments to prevent any form of light. Darkness. Not just in the room—but most especially in her heart. She felt dead.
The door creaked open, and before her was a man whom she had once loved and cherished as a father, but now felt nothing  for. He sat down on the edge of the bed and placed his hand on her cheek,  and slowly he hugged her.  She knew he didn't care about her but was only doing all these because he wanted something from her. In few seconds, he withdrew and asked impatiently. "I came here to tell you not to worry about the vision you last had. I'm sure it was a mix up of some sort. Maybe you need to be treated. It's been years, I guess you may be tired and confused."
"I'm not tired neither I'm I confused. What I saw is real and clear. Clearer than any other vision I've had."
“Kronei, this is a time of celebration and a period of utmost joy for all darkbloods. I do not want anything ruining the mood and i'm sure you don't too.”
She could see clearly, the pressure on his face. He didn't want her to tell anyone about her vision, and she was pleased to see the strains on his forehead. She was definitely going to spill it out to anyone she came in contact with. It had been forever since she had seen him so desperate.
"Of course, I wouldn't want to ruin the mood of my people if I had a choice. I want the very best for them and for you too", she held his palm gently and enjoyed every moment of it, she loved the stern look on his face and tried so hard not to burst into laughter. "But i don't want them to be cut unalert when problem arises. I will do anything to save the lives of my people. So if you won't heed to it and find what the problem is, I will be forced to tell the council."
With fury, he blasted out on her. "You will do nothing like that."
       "Watch me."
“You are obviously sick and delirious and as king and as your father, i will make sure that you are fully treated."
She chuckled."Yes, you are my king but you are nothing more than that to me."
"Luckily, i don't need to be anything more than that to you to make sure you are treated."
He stood up and straightened his garment, " First thing tomorrow morning, I will send The Healers to treat you."
Slowly,he walked out of the room, leaving her alone, in the darkness, and more miserable.

EARTH(HUMAN TERRAIN)

She was very worried. She knew something wrong had happened, liya should have been back. The men were very few outside, they were done with offloading the humans from the trucks.
'Where are you? Where are you, liya?
She wasn't going to wait any longer, she had to go look for Liya. Damn. She wouldn't make herself smell like a dark. It was a degrading thing to do as a greyblood warrior. She looked around her and slowly crawled out from behind the vehicles. She moved slowly and steadily. She made sure she  didn't make a sound. But still one of them sensed her.
       "Can you feel that?"
       "Feel what?" Another one asked.
        "There is a greyblood around".
The other laughed a little, "Funny."
“No. I'm sure of what i'm saying. Call the others at the back, let's scout around.”
Kitara knew she was going to be in deep trouble if the others were alerted, so she stood up and walked towards them.
     “Hey you,looking for me?"
They both drew out their swords and she too did the same.  But before she could charge them, her ring had brought out a red light which cut through them, dividing them into two equal halves. Kitara stared at the ring in amusement.
      “What the hell!”
She dragged the four parts of the darks near the parked vehicles and ran straight for the left entrance.
