{If you have not seen Akudama Drive then don't read this unless you want spoilers}
_______________________________Walking around in the afterlife sounds boring but it helps clear your mind. Especially from what you've had to go though the past week.
Like what Hoodlum had to go though. A lot has happened to him in those few days of being "free". In one way it was horrible. Having to hide for his life and being hunted by executioners.
On the other hand though he got some freedom and even got pretty close with one of the other akudama. He also got his revenge for his friend.
Was he a friend? Or was he more than that? Ever sense Swindler told him that him and Brawler seemed to be closer than friends he's been thinking, maybe he likes him more than just a friend? But does Brawler feel the same way?
What does it matter? Both of them are dead and who knows when Hoodlum will see him again? If he ever sees him again?
Hoodlum just crashed down against a wall on his knees. He suddenly felt very weak everywhere and started tearing up. He's always been weak. If only he was stronger and faster. Maybe he could have saved him? If only he actually stopped the bleeding Brawler would still be alive.
Hoodlum started crying heavily as he hugged his legs. He was crying so hard he thought he was gonna pass out.
After a good minute or two of crying Hoodlum started to calm down and breathe. He whipped his face with his sleeve and started to get back up. He struggled to do so because he still felt pretty weak.
He felt like he was gonna fall to the ground until someone held onto him. Their grip felt strong and protective. As Hoodlum looked up to see who caught him his eyes widened.
Brawler!
It was him! The worlds best Brawler!
Hoodlum was speechless as he looked at the man. Luckily he did not need to talk because the second Brawler saw his face he picked up Hoodlum is a bear hug and started spinning around.
"My god brother it's really you! I mean I thought it was you because of the hair but I had no idea it was actually you. Brother you're here! You're really here!"
Brawler continued to squeeze Hoodlums body in joy. Hoodlum felt the same way. He missed Brawler and is happy that he's here but the hug is starting to hurt.
"Bro... I.... can't... breathe!"
Brawler lets go as soon as Hoodlum gasped out the last word. With that Hoodlum dropped to the ground with a thud. As he started to catch his breath for the second time he looked up at Brawler.
He has not changed a bit. Was that a good thing? Of course.
"Sorry brother I was just happy that's all. It's been boring without you guys here, especially you."
Hoodlums eyes widened as a small blush crawled its way across his face. Hoodlum looked down so Brawler can't see it and nodded.
"I've missed you too bro."
With that Hoodlum got up and hugged Brawler tightly. Not Brawler tight but tight enough for him to get the message. Hoodlum knew Brawler got the message because he wrapped his arms around Hoodlum again.
Not a death grip, not too tight, just tight enough so that the two men know how much they've missed one another.

OMG It's about time I made this.
I will be adding the other akudama in this story so if you like any of the others they'll be in here every now and then.
Also the "afterlife" setup- just imagine the city they live in, that's basically the set up.
So give me some request on here or on my Twitter and I'll try to add them in.
See ya 👋🏼
