After the cry, Sub and Corl could only bear one thing that the sound meant: Alex Crafted was injured. Corl and Sub then timed the jump, and landed on one of the many pipes and spikes that were scattered about. Corl looked down and saw Alex's half-destroyed box. Then, Corl and Sub made another timed jump and went to find Alex. A few seconds later, Corl found Alex and pulled him out from under the box, and saw that Alex had no legs. The legs seemed to have been torn off by a pair of spikes, and was still under the box. ''Corl, take this,'' said Alex weakly, he was talking about a strange object that he seemed to have with him, ''This is the Platinum Element. I found it. Take it, study it, take care of yourselves, and everyone else.'' ''No,'' said Corl ''there must be a way to bring you back,'' in tears, Alex said ''There is a way to bring me back home.'' ''Really? How?'' asked Corl, ''In the -'' he soon became lifeless on the slick stone of the track. He had died.
