VII

He didn't talk to anyone for a while , locked inside his make shift room on Tommy's room with Tubbo, the blonde had felt really bad for him and had been his emotional support .
Tubbo was completely destroyed , but refused to let it show around Tommy .
He was completely shattered , he had lost everything for Techno , an lost him after as well .
Who was he supposed to be without the man he loved? When did he become nothing but "Techno's boyfriend" ?.
He cried and screamed , destroying everything that was thrown in the room , letting all his anger and stress out , his hands bruised and his eye bags grew and he hid himself in shame and tears , afraid .

Nights passed and he stayed locked in the room , eating very little , only allowing Tommy and Tubbo inside the room .

He whished he could go back to Techno , to his arms back in the snow . And they'd snuggle all night long , whispering silly things to each other and giggling .
But he couldn't , that was not his Techno .
His Techno wouldn't hit him , his Techno wouldn't lie to him .
Techno wouldn't hurt him , but he did .
And he wasn't about to just take it .

The creaking of the door alerted him of someone else's presence in the room , the light from the day making it's way in as well .
He turned around , not wanting whoever entered looking at his tear stained face. 

"Tommy? It's not dinner time yet" he questioned, frowning . He specifically told the blonde not to come in unless it was to give him food , Tubbo was out , doing whatever cheered him up these days , so there was no reason for Tommy to enter .

"Sorry big man , but i think you need this " Tommy replied , confusing him incredibly .

"I need what-"

"You need your friends" a new voice replied quickly . Niki.
His heart started raising , he couldn't let her see him like that .

"What are you doing here? Please leave" he felt so small , so destroyed .
He wasn't ready to loose another important person .

"I'm here because I'm your friend" she got closer , he could hear her getting closer .

"Please Niki , i can't loose you" she broke after that , dropping to the floor and hugging him tightly .

"Oh Lord , you're not going to loose me , please don't think like that " he couldn't hold himself together , breaking for the 50th time since he left Techno , hugging himself , feeling Niki's arms around himself .
At some point Tommy ended up beside him , hugging him as well . Eret and Tubbo. showed up after.

He met Ghostbur , and cried about it , cried his heart out . And no one left him , they stayed there with him , until his breathing steadied and his sobs subsided .
He had a nice talk with the dead man after that , actually laughing after weeks .

Maybe he could heal with them around , just maybe .

It took him months , but he did , five months , but he healed .
He didn't forget however , much to his annoyance , so maybe it was time to forgive .

He started living with Eret , helping her with her cat caffe . Eret was the best roommate he could've asked for , always friendly and willing to listen to him , they always left him some food out when he went out for a long time .

In a cold night he decided to sneak out , not really sneaking out , but making as less sound as he could , not wanting to disturb the man he lived with .
The door creaked , waking up one of the cats they where fostering , and he dashed out , not wanting to let the injured cat outside .

He knew the path by heart , his muscles moving on their own as he let his mind wonder .
What would Techno be doing at that time? How did the voices take to them splitting? .
The walk was long and tedious , there was much more snow than he remembered . But he pushed trough it .

Techno's house was visible after long 30 minutes of walking . Nothing had changed much , there was a bunch of dogs and snow foxes around , a few polar bear looked at him as he slowly made his way up to the door .
He knocked on the wooden door softly , shaking with anticipation and slightly afraid .

He heard groaning and footsteps getting closer to the door before the wooden thing creaked as it was being open .

"What is..." Techno didn't finish his sentence , shooked to see him there .

He was happy to see the hybrid hadn't changed much , he still needed glasses and wore a simple shirt that looked fancier than it was , and he resisted the urge to huff when he realized Techno was still taller than him , not that much time had passed away .

"Hey" he cringed  at how husky his voice sounded .

"Oh dear blood God ... Is that really you" the pigling reached out to touch his face , and he wasn't going to deny he flinched before the man's hand rested on his cheeks . The loving shine in Techno's eyes changed to a guilty and sad one .

"Yeah , it's me" he carefully picked up Techno's hand on his own , relishing on the familiarity of the action , he's done this before , holding Techno's hand that is .

"I'm sorry about ... everything , i was such an idiot " the pigling averted his eyes .

"You where , and i forgive you" he brought Techno's hand up to his lips before letting it fall again .
Techno was shooked again , not sure of what else he was expecting from the sweet man in front of him .

"You do? " It hurt how hopeful Techno sounded when he was aware of what he came here for .

"I do , but we need to talk , like adults " he swallowed hard before speaking again "as friends , not lovers"

Techno visibly deflated at his words , but recovered pretty quickly. He expected him to be angry or annoyed , but the hybrid only had determination on his eyes , not a hint of anger .

"Sounds fair to me" Techno said , standing up straight .

"Let go take a walk , we have so many things to talk about " he replied , looking at the now raising sun .
Techno hummed in agreement and grabbed his coat quickly .

They walked through the snow in silence for a few seconds before Techno broke the silence .

"Do you think ... I'd have another chance ?"

He thought about it , he wasn't ready to let Techno into his heart again , he just managed to take him out , at least not yet .

"I'm not sure , i don't really want that yet" second chances , would that even be Techno's second chance?

"I get it ... It's good to see you again Y/n"

His name , he wasn't just 'Techno's boyfriend' anymore , he was his own person , that's the thing he missed the most . He let his face rest in a happy and pleased expression , finally feeling whole .

That was the thing he came looking for , not Techno , but for himself .

"Yeah ... It's good to have me back"
