After coming from the studio, Kamari went to Malik's apartment.

She wanted to get things off of her chest and clear things up.

"Mari?", Malik said after he opened the door.

"Hey Malik", Kamari said.

"Come in", he said.

Kamari walked into the apartment and looked around.

"I guess nothing has changed with the place", she said.

"Nah. What's up? What are you doing here?", he asked.

"I just came to say sorry about missing the funeral. I went to her grave and put some flowers down", Kamari said.

"It's okay and thank you", Malik said.

Kamari nods.

"But I'm sure that was something you could've said over the phone so why did you really come?", Malik asked as he sat on the couch.

Kamari finally looked at him.

"I don't know", Kamari said. "I just... I wanted to see if I was wrong about something"

"...are you?", Malik asked even though he had no clue of what she was talking about.

"I don't know", Kamari replied.

Malik looked down for a moment as he thought to himself.

"...I know you've moved on and found someone new and i really do hope he's treating you better than I ever had but... I don't know, I still feel like it's something still there between us", Malik said.

Kamari continued to look at him.

"I miss hearing that beautiful voice of yours in person... not just on my phone or tv", Malik said.

"...you listen to my song still?", Kamari asked.

"I've supported you since day one, why stop?", he asked.

Kamari smiled a little.

"I've listened to every song and I've heard every word and I'm sorry that I made you feel that bad. I guess I was so busy trying to cool that I didn't realize how much I was hurting and I didn't realize that I wasn't cool", Malik said.

"I found it in myself to forgive you months again. If I didn't, I wouldn't have been able to move on with Q", Kamari said.

"What you doing with a guy like him?", Malik asked.

"What do you mean?", Kamari asked.

"A hood nigga. I didn't know that was your type", Malik said.

"Maybe because he doesn't act like one", Kamari said.

"Maybe not around you", Malik said.

Kamari shook her head.

"All I'm saying is I heard that his last relationship didn't work out because he was hitting on the girl", Malik said.

"Stop lying. I know you just wanna get in my head", Kamari said.

"I'm not lying", Malik said.
