The Worry

Alex's Pov
Today was the day. I was going to ask her today to officially be mine. I have waited too long. I already told the boys the plan and they actually wanted to join and together ask the girls.

We were going on a quad date altogether and then surprise them.

   Ella's Pov
I woke up and Alex wasn't beside like I would have hoped him to be. I get up and head to the bathroom to take a shower since I was disgusting and dirty.

   I grabbed and towel and dried myself off when the door opened. It was Alex. "Hey baby" he said walking up to me and hugging me. "Where were you this morning" I ask still and little disappointed. "I was with the boys discussing something" he says a little closed off.  I slowly nod my head sadly.

     I finish getting ready and head to the kitchen to cook breakfast to see moping Katie Emma and Rachel sitting on the bar stools. "Are they distant and moody too" I ask them. They nod their heads but get up to help me cook meals for all of us. All of a sudden some servants came and took over the cooking noticing our moods.

   We didn't argue and let them take over. We sat in the living room when we heard loud footsteps coming down the stairs. We looked up to see the four of the men. "Why are ya'll so down" Jackson says kind of rude. "Maybe cause the four of you are being jack butts and mean" Emma responds even ruder.

    "Okay what is going on between you two Emma" I ask the curiosity. "Nothing" she says and I give her the look. "She thinks I cheated on her" Jackson says. I look at him and give him that other look like did you. "No I didn't" he says back.  I look at her and she shrugs her shoulders. "Emma why do you think that" I ask. "Because on of his ex's came up to me and showed me proof that you had been talking to her" she says looking at him.

    I look at Jackson asking if this was true. "Yes I was but it was to do something for the four of you, it was nothing ask them they were with me" he says pointing to Jordan, Alex, and Austin. They nodded their heads and I saw truth in each and every one of them. "Emma trust Jackson he would never hurt you now go talk with him about your worries ad insecurities" I whisper in her ear ad she nods grabbing Jackson's hand and walking down the hallway.

     "So are we doing anything today" I ask Alex expecting nothing. "Actually were all going to a nice restaurant later around seven" he says walking off. "I really don't know why their acting weird but I really don't like it" Katie says. "I agree did we do something wrong" I say rubbing my stomach which they both catch rubbing theirs too understanding my problem.

   Then the maids come and give us our breakfast. We say thank you and they nod walking off . We ate and the food was absolutely delicious. We then just sit there in silence with our thoughts wondering. I then get up and without a word going to Alex's office.  "I hate this how their moping around I can't" Jackson says. "Yeah whatever I can't dude" Austin says. "Okay then let's just act normal instead of bipolar men" Alex says and I hear him get up.

        I then knock on the door. Jordan cautiously opens the door looking warily. I give a grim looking smile and then turn to Alex. "We need to talk" I say directly looking into his eyes.

He nods his head to the boys and they walk out closing the door behind them.   "What's up" he says acting like nothing was wrong. "Why are you closed off, did I do something wrong is-" I couldn't say the rest in case it was the truth.

"Is what" he asks. "Do you just want the babies do you not love me" I say tearing up. "What no, of course not baby I love you I love the babies don't ever think that okay" he says grabbing my face and wiping the tears that fell.

I nod and he pulls me into him. I wrap my arms around his body and he cradles my head in his collarbone. I finally calm down and pull away from him. I look at the time and it was around 5:30 "Shit we need to get ready" I say pulling away from him and running out of the office.
