Ella's Pov

Finally a new beginning for me, if your not sure what I mean let me tell you my biggest and darkest secret, no one else besides my mother and father know about. I was an only child with no siblings to go through this with me. I came to be a girl and my parents were very angry that I was a girl to where they abused me my entire life until I left for college, I am now going to college away from them and away from the pain. No one knows about that but one person that is very special in the future or do they.I was heading to my apartment when I noticed a lot of people staring at me as if I was some sort of disease . When I got to the apartment I knocked and opened the door. When I came through the door he was standing there with grey sweatpants hanging dangerously low on his hips and you could see his eight pack and his very muscled back. I stood there a little shocked and blushed really fast.

Alex's Pov

When she walked through the door I instantly said in my mind I had to be with her in anyway that I could. I also felt the need to know and protect her. When She walked in and instantly blushed it also made me blush for the first time and I said "it'll last longer in a picture".

Ella's Pov

When he said "it'll last longer in a picture" I knew I hit hard for this guy, but should also stay away from him in a way, but also knew I couldn't resist him in anyway though. He was the one I knew I wanted to be with, but with my past I don't want to get hurt anymore than I already was, I was a very broken soul, but when I saw him I felt lighter in a positive way. Like no one was going to hurt me anymore. I felt instantly safe with him and I knew that he was dangerous for me, but at this point I didn't care or give a shit about anything or anyone said or did.

Alex's Pov

She didn't respond to me except she looked deep in her thoughts.I bet she is thinking about my rock hard abs and her amazing future of seeing them. When she finally looked up she said " Hi im Ella". I responded to say " Hi im Alex your roommate".After I said my name her face whent into shock to say she new me from preschool and that i was Alex Royer and she was Ella Clayton. I couldn't believe it I used to have a huge crush on her back then. When she told me she accidentally hit her arm and flinched as if she was getting hit, at that point I knew I had to protect her no matter what I had to even if I was going to get badly beaten. At the time I remembered that she never had friends go over to her house but she went to there's. After she flinched I ran to make sure she was ok because she looked a little out of it.

Ella's Pov

When I hit my arm on the wall the memory of my dad hiting me came back and I flinched pretty bad and I guess it showed because he ran to make sure I was okay. I was a little shocked but I intended to say I was okay when he said something that shook me so bad I started shaking.

Alex's Pov

When I ran to her I made sure she was okay and said " you were abused by your parents wern't you" . After I said that she looked scared and started shaking really bad as if it was her darkest secret. After that I hugged her and she started to say everything that her parents did throught kindergarten and throught the last year of highschool. I felt so bad for her I actually kissed her forehead to say it was okay.

Ella's Pov

When he kissed my forehead I felt loved for once it might just be me but I felt an attraction to him like I have never felt before. I felt as if I need him for the rest of my life. I said thank you to him and got up and asked him if he would like to help me move into the apartment and help set my room up.

Alex's Pov

I automatically said yes without thinking and she smiled so big it made me smile. Once we finished her room I said good night and went to bed.
