He held on to her hand, afraid of the horrors that lie beneath him, he gripped her hand tightly, hoping for her to lift him up like she always would

but then he looked up at her

and saw it in her face.

She had a look of hatred, she didn't hate him, but what she knew he was

But behind her hatred was a side of sadness, she didn't want to believe it but she knew it was true

he WAS the monster

And without second thought, she let go, and threw him into the depths, and slowly walked away from what she had done, like it had never happened

I'll never forget the day I met her
She didn't really trust me at the time, but I think she figured out real quick how much of a help I could be to her
She helped me a lot, I would never have survived without her
And she never would have survived without me

He fell into the darkness underneath

he couldn't feel his limbs, he was nothing more than an object, a thing, at least thats how he felt

it felt like he was falling for hours, until reality hit him

and by reality I mean the floor

or...what used to be the floor, now its a horrible grotesque monster

it made horrible, disgusting sounds as it squirmed around

he got up and looked around, but he didn't look for long once he realized everything is covered in a disgusting flesh monster

he started to walk around, trying to find a way out of there

every time he stepped, there was a horrible squishing sound

everywhere he looked the eyes were staring straight at him

it went on forever, there was no way out

and then, he saw a chair, sitting in the spotlight

he knew what it was

it was his throne

he climbed up the chair and sat down

He wanted to cry, but it would be no use now
He was stuck there forever.

The signal tower went back to its normal form, and he stayed locked behind the door on the other side of the transmission

he waited and waited, for nothing to happen

it was quiet, and lonely

But....then something happened
He heard a familiar tune....

Is that...?
No...No...I destroyed the music box...theres no way...

Still, he had to figure out where that music was coming from

He got up and followed it, calling for whatever was making the noise

"Hey!"

there was a loud crack, he looked around, the walls around him were breaking

"Hey!"

The music started to distort, but he still knew for a fact it was that same familiar song he knew all too well

"Hey!"

With a loud crack, the walls busted open, revealing the horrible monster underneath, he covered his ears from the horrible sound of the monster screeching in pain as it made its way through the cracks

he let go of his ears and opened his eyes to see it in the distance

The music box was sitting on the ground playing the same music he had heard before

He ran towards it

You know, its not every day you'd meet a girl like her
She was strange to say the least, she always seemed...off
But nevertheless, she was my friend
And while we were only together because we wanted to survive, I considered it a friendship
maybe thats where I went wrong

The flesh started to split itself open, it screeched in pain as hands started to emerge from the gashes, they swung at him and tried to grab him, but he was too small and quick

"HEY!"

He yelled loudly, the hands froze in time as the world took on a...horrifyingly familiar form....

he remembered it, it was the same as when the man was chasing him, everything was frozen and he moved slowly

Then from the darkness, a giant hand emerged and grabbed the music box, dragging it back into the shadows

He chased after it, running as fast as his little legs could manage

"HEY!"

as he yelled, there was a loud scream

She was a very smart girl, she always knew exactly what to do
Despite her smarts, she wasn't quite all there mentally
I'd occasionally catch her breaking the fingers of dead bodies or trying to drag rats around by their tails
It was disturbing, but what can you expect
I mean, she was locked up in a room for who knows how long
I wonder if that's why she did it

and then...

it went back to normal...

the hands were gone, the cracks were gone
it was all gone, except for one thing

The music box sat in front of him, waiting for nothing, just like him

He grabbed the handle and started to turn it

and the music started playing

As he played, the world seemed to slow down

he kept playing until the world came to a full stop

he looked up from the music box and saw a TV in front of him

he got up from the music box and walked towards it

as he slowly walked closer, he started to glitch

he held his hands up to touch the tv screen

and then...he did...
