"Alright. WHAT WAS THAT?!" That's the first thing I heard once I came out of the hall. Ms. Yhana was screaming at her Dad, because of the sudden announcement that we both didn't know.

"Dear. listen, I only did that because--" Mr. Guevarra tried explaning only to get cut off by Ms. Yhana once again.

"No, Dad, that was uncalled for! You could've atleast told me, couldn't you?! Why would you announce something so personal to me, without ME knowing?!" She screamed. Silence took over the place, Ms. Yhana's voice echoing all throughout the place.

"Hey dude. Why didn't you tell me that Ms. Yhana's your soon to be bride! That explains why--" Someone suddenly screamed in my ears so I covered the person's mouth and dragged him outside, glancing beside him and finding two ladies with him.

"Dude, let's go first. I'll fill you in later.... Whoever you are." I said as we ended up on the parking lot. I finally looked at them and recognized their faces almost immediately.

"Alright what was that stunt? You came back from Hong Kong just to give us the news that you're actually getting married? And here I thought you're someone lonely as hell!" He nagged, as I just listened. He won't stop as long as he hasn't let out what he wants to say anyway.

"Okay, you said what you wanted to say. Now listen to me, I didn't know that Ms. Yhana was invited there to listen to his father announcing who was with her, to be her soon to be groom alright? And I didn't know that I'm going to be someone's soon to be groom as soon as I enter that hall!" I said in one breath as they all looked at me dumbfounded.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Rona finally spoke, asking me.

"What I'm trying to say is, I have no idea why I was suddenly announced as Ms. Yhana's fiancé. I came from Hong Kong to finally have a rest from my job there, not to get married!" I tried explaining it with a more straight- forward way.

"What? Then why did Mr. Guevarra announce such important thing? Did Ms. Yhana know?" He asked, finally with a calm voice, no more rage filled screams.

"From what I saw, this Ms. Yhana definitely didn't know.... that's for sure." Lonnie commented, catching our attention as we looked at her.

"Yeah, she was screaming at her Dad... but there's no way that's the only reason she's mad. There's got to be something else there." Rona added, making Lonnie nod. Me and Carl looked at each other confused.

"How are you guys so sure?" Carl asked, I looked at them as well as I'm curious.

"We just had a feeling, honestly for someone like her. There's no way her Dad would suddenly just announce a random dude as his daughter's fiancé, so there's also no way she would get mad just because of that. Unless she's dumb, which I don't think is the case." Lonnie answered, making us wonder more. Were women always this logic filled? How do they even know that?

"You women are always so complicated, yet you find reasons to understand each other. How the hell do you even know that?" Carl said, looking confused and angered..... for some reason.

"Yeah, I mean.... women are easy to understand anyway, it's just you guys are different that's why you think you don't understand us. Now come on and hug me, don't get mad now." Lonnie said, spreading out her arms for Carl, Rona looked at them disgusted.

"Dude we're still here. Ugh, let's go Javier." Rona said dragging me away while I bursted out in laughter.

"You brought your car right? Let's go home." Rona said, instantly reminding me that I have to wait for Ms. Yhana.

"Oh no, that's actually not mine. That's Ms. Yhana's car, Mr. Guevarra told me to manage it as I'm Ms. Yhana's personal bodyguard now. And actually I have to wait for Ms. Yhana, I'm sorry but you have to go home with Carl and Lonnie." As I said that, Rona frowned at me and smacked my arm.

"Damn it, I don't want to go home with them. They're literally flirting the whole ride coming here." She said sulking, I chuckled and looked at her.

"But, how come you guys are here? Is Jayne's party done?" I asked, confused.

"Well it's not actually done yet, but Carl said we should follow you so..." She explained, as I let out an 'oh' signing that I understood.

"You shouldn't have though... and now you heard something even I couldn't explain." I said sighing, while Rona looked apologetically.

"I swear we didn't know. But hey, I've been curious for a while now..." She said, opening up another topic while I hummed, indicating her to continue.

"Haven't you had any feelings for anyone?" She asked, making me frown. But I instantly picked up my smile and looked at her.

"No, never had any." I answered, with the same smile I had, looking away right away.

"Then have you ever considered dating?" She again asked, as I sighed looking at her once again and answering.

"Nope, never did that came running through my mind. How about you?" I said, trying to take the topic off me. She looked away and stepped back.

"I-i did date someone, but not for so long. Anyway can't you drive me home?" She asked, taking the topic off her status.

"Nope. I don't want to get fired yet, so you're gonna have to keep yourself calm and just watch them flirt all the way home again. Now go! Shoo!" I said teasing her, while she death glared at me, going back to where Carl and Lonnie is. I laughed, watching her disappear from my view as I got in the car, turning on its engine and waited for Ms. Yhana.

After a bit, Ms. Yhana finally came in sight, holding her purse and her same poker face as always.

She got in the car and I looked at her. Once she told me where to go, I drove off quietly, looking at her by the mirror time to time, only to find her looking out the mirror blankly the whole time.

I kept quiet and slowly turned on the stereo.

"We were so beautiful
We were so tragic
No other magic
Could ever compare

I lost myself, seventeen
Then you came, found me
No other magic
Could ever compare~"

Played on the stereo this time, as I kept my eyes on the road, not daring to look at Ms. Yhana to give her privacy this time, she needed time to relax after all. Lonnie and Rona were probably right, there must be something else there, Ms. Yhana doesn't look like the kind of person who would just recklessly vent out her anger without any thoughts.
