Ah finally, the night of the Halloween party. I had kind of hopped that Johnny and I could go as something together, but he had already planned to go as a skeleton with his friends. So, I decided to go as Belle. The dress I picked out was beautiful. It's beautiful flowers, it's color. Just everything about it was perfect.

I hear a honk outside of the apartments. That must be Johnny outside to pick me up! I walk out into the living room and see my mom on the couch. "Oh darling, you look so beautiful!"

"Thank you mom. I have to go now though, Johnny's here waiting for me."

"Alright, have a great time!". I open the door and see Johnny waiting outside of it. His smile turns into his jaw practically being on the floor while looking up and down me. "I- uh, you- you look so b-beautiful y-y/n", he says while stuttering. His cheeks start to glow pink. "You look very handsome too Johnny", I say as I cup my hand into his cheek.

"Oh! Before I forget, here. I heard that you were going to go as Belle, so I got you this", Johnny says while pulling something from behind his back. He pulled out a beautiful tiara with a pink rose and two yellow gems on it.

"Oh my god Johnny, it's so beautiful. Where did you get this?", i ask as my eyes start getting teary.
"I had seen it in a window of a shop the other day and it's beauty made me think of you", he said while he put it on me. "Oh y/n. You look so beautiful."

"Why thank you Johnny. So, should we get going to the party and not keep everyone waiting?"

"I guess we should", he said while taking my arm.

We walk through the doors of the gym and finally see everyone. I walk with Johnny over to his friends. I can tell it's his friends because they are all basically identical to each other. "Hey guys!", Johnny yells over to his friends. "Hey Johnny. Oooo nice dress there y/n. You know Johnny I might have to steal her from you", Jimmy said.

"Hey, watch it dick head", Johnny said.

"Alright, alright. Sheesh!", Dutch said while throwing his hands in the air.

"Hey, I need to go to the bathroom and then after I'm going to hang out with the guys for a little bit. Are you okay with that?", Johnny asked me.

"Yeah, I'll probably be talking to people I met at the party or be hanging out by myself."

"Okay, when I'm done I promise that I will dance with you". He walks away over to the bathroom and I walk over to the corner of the room. I look out into the crowd of people dancing. Everyone has really great costumes this year. I do this every year, just stand against a wall and watch everyone dance. I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn my head and see Daniel dressed as a shower tub combo. "Hey, nice costume there shower", i said to him.

"Wow, i wish i could say the same thing about you, but your costume is so much better than just nice."

"Hey, it's a nice dress, but it's not that good looking. It would probably look better on Ali or someone like that."

"Are you kidding me? You look stunning in that! It looks perfect on you."

"You really think so?"

"Absolutely. I should have asked you to the dance before Johnny did. Anyways, do you want to go and dance with me?"

"Sure! Why not?", I say as he takes my arm. As we walked onto the dance floor, More Than A Woman by The Bee Gees started playing. "Oooo i love this song", I accidentally said out loud.

"Well than I'm glad I get to dance with you to your favorite song". He puts one hand on my side, and his other hand in mine. I put my other hand on his shoulder and we start to sway. Although it would be nice to experience this moment with Johnny. It's nice to be able to spend a little bit of time with a great friend. "Is this an apology dance for making me fall on my face the first time we met?", i ask him.

"Oh my gosh, you know I still feel bad about it."

"Really?"

"I mean yeah, I thought I had accidentally ruined the chance to talk to a cute girl, but at the same time it made us close friends. So in a way, it was a good thing that I made you fall."

"I guess it was."

"Yes it was. Hey, quick question, but do you know where Lawrence is?"

"Yeah, he's either over by his friends or in the bathroom. Why?"

"Oh, I just need to talk to him about something. I'll be right back to finish this dance". He runs away into the bathroom. Well that was kind of rude. I mean that was the first time I've gotten to talk to him in a minute. I walk off of the dance floor and back to the wall where I was at. I wonder why Johnny has been in the bathroom for around 15 minutes. I hope he's okay. I look over to the bathrooms and see Danny running out and heading for the gym doors that lead out to the field. Oh no who did what. I see Johnny, Jimmy, and Tommy all run out of the bathroom, soaked in water. "GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!", Johnny says while running after Danny, falling in the process. God damnit, tonight was supposed to be perfect, why did this happen?
