"Cmon it would be fun!", i said pulling Johnny's arm in my direction.

"But i don't want to spend hours and hours waiting for you to pick something out."

"It won't be hours, I promise!"

"Alright I'll go, but if we aren't done by four then you owe me"

"Okay! I promise we'll be done by four!", i said while squealing. Finally after 40 minutes of trying to convince Johnny to go dress shopping for the party he invited me to, he finally agreed. He told me that it was a formal party, and I don't have any formal dresses in my closet. We leave the apartment, say goodbye to my mom, and walk out of the apartment complex to his car.

"What about this one?" I said holding up a plain pink dress.

"Eh, it doesn't really suit you", Johnny said while scratching the back of his head.

"Okay then, what about this one?", i say while holding up a blue floor length dress.

"Meh, i don't like the straps on it"

"Yeah, me either"

"Hey, what about that one over there?". Johnny walks away and grabs a dark green floor length dress.

"Oh my god! I love it so much! I'm going to go try it on."

I walk into one of the dressing rooms and put on the dress. I look so amazing in this dress! I already love it so much! I open the door of the dressing room and see Johnny standing outside of it. His jaw falls open and he looks me up and down. "So, do you like it or not?", i ask while blushing.

"N-n-no baby, I love it. You just look so beautiful you made my jaw fall to the floor."

"I love it too, I think I might get it!"

"Great! How much is it?"

"Let me look". I lift my arm and see the price. 230 dollars. This dress is way more expensive than I thought it would be."I can't get it" I say in a melancholy tone.
"Why not?"

"It's 230 dollars, its way more expensive than I thought it would be"

"Oh, I'm sorry babe. Do you want to go to another shop and see if we can get something there?"

"Yeah, let me go get this off"

"I think I'll just end up using one of my moms old dresses", i said while walking into a store.

"You sure? You know I can pay for something if you don't have enough money"

"Babe, it's okay. I promise. Wow, all these necklaces are so beautiful!", i exclaimed. The silver necklace had four leafs along the chain, and connected to the leafs was a pearl rose. It was breathtaking.
