"w-wait, so you're saying Atsushi is the girl you used to be within this mansion?" Yosano asked in disbelief

Chuuya just nodded again and clenched his hand in annoyance, he didn't know that the girl he was looking for who had escaped back then 5 years ago was just near him, the girl he was looking for every corner of Yokohama city was alive just with other members of the Agency

that girl who had suffered several times and for a long time was just living peacefully and well without knowing that Atsushi was just that child, the child he had been looking for for a long time

why hadn't he noticed even before? that child is Atsushi? that she was living peacefully and well with the enemy they considered? is it because Atsushi has grown up and she is no longer the same as before? that she was no longer the girl who was always confined to a room and crying for help?

all that he did not notice?

why did he just now find out all that especially since they were in the middle of the big mission? why didn't he even notice at the beginning?!

that the girl he wanted to run away with was just next to him?! it has been many years he searched for Atsushi, he had no sleep and even a blink of an eye could not get that he still had hoped to find the girl he was looking for, he always thought of that girl, every minute and hour he was worried

he always wonders if the child is already eating or is she just safe? that she has already found a place to live and a sensible family? or is she still running and hiding for her life?

a year ago when Mori-san fired Nemoto, it was only then that Chuuya first found out that Atsushi had escaped before he could make his plan. at first, Chuuya didn't believe it. but he felt that his heart would explode with fear and trepidation. so he thought of going back to Nemoto's mansion

so when he returned then, he did not think that there would appear such a very brutal scene in front of him. the hundred dead and lifeless children were scattered on the smooth floor of that mad man's mansion

you will see nothing but blood and dead children on the floor of the mansion, all of Nemoto's belongings are gone and his men who were with him on the escape. he also couldn't do anything at that time but just stare at the lifeless children, he didn't think that Nemoto would do anything just to see Atsushi, even if he took a lot of children and brutally killed them. he wouldn't hesitate and over and over again he would just do that just for Atsushi

"Atsushi, where are you?" 

Chuuya's eyes were full of sadness, he blamed himself for not taking Atsushi with him to his escape even at first, he waited a long time but all of that would be ruined, he was already preceded by a girl to escape than him.

was it because he was afraid that he waited so long? or because he was hesitant to save the girl because it was the first time he had met her?

if he only really knew that Atsushi would run away alone, he would run with that girl even though he knew that his own life would be ruined as well.

"We need to save her before it's too late"
