Chapter 14: Operation Eri & Deku's Festival

≈Bakugou Katsuki's POV≈

"So the doctors said that she's fine now, they said they've been monitoring her while she was in her fever, they said her horn on her head also grew shorter." Sensei Aizawa said while he was escorting me and Deku to eri's room. The morning rolled by and Deku has been chanting :Eri! Eri! Eri!: ever since he woke up.

"So her horn is her power-source, she can store power in her horn?" I questioned him since we didn't have much about her. I was about to say something else until Deku grabbed my arm while we were walking.

"Here's her room you three." 'Three? Oh yeah. Small-Face was following us. He also wanted to see Eri.' We walk into the room and Eri looks at us, her expression changed from scared to calm once she saw Deku. "Mr. Deku!" She made grabby hands to signal a hug.

Deku ran to her and embraced her. Small-Face and me walk up to them and he places a basket of fruits onto the bed as Deku and Eri start eating the foods. "Say bakugou! We have the festival coming up in three days! We should bring them! They could smile at the things!"

"I-I don't know how to smile." We look at Eri who's trying to smile by forcing her cheeks up with her hands trying to look like a smile. I felt guilt. I turn to Deku who's looking at her try. He looks at his hands and looks back at her as he copy's what she's doing. I felt even more guilt.

"Hey. Sensei. Can we bring them to the festival?" It didn't sound like a question, more of a demand. He sighed and agreed. Me and Deku left the hospital with Oval-Eyes. New nickname for mirio. And we waited for the next day.

The past three days were all of the students getting everything set up. I didn't do much. Well, let's say We, Didn't do much. Motu and Patlu were with us while everyone was setting up, the reason for this is because I also have things to do. Such as I have a role to partake in during.

Our class decided to do a concert for the school. I was the role of the drums. Since Deku doesn't like loud bangs UA sent out letters from the other schools that they will be needed at UA during the festival. So while I'm rehearsing my lines they are with Deku looking at all the other things the classes are doing.

I heard from Motu and Patlu that some other classmates from different classes liked deku's company. Apparently they said that a girl named Hatsumei liked Deku's company, but Deku didn't like hers. It made me laugh as they said that Deku was running back and forth trying to get away from her as she tried giving him one of her inventions.

Once it was dark they arrived back at the dorms right as we finished rehearsing. "Dude! I got so many pictures of everything! Little bunny over here got to touch the giant metal dinosaur someone built. And he got to eat some sweets from the booths they were building as gratitude." Motu said as he ruffled deku's green puff of hair.

I completely forgot they call him bunny now. It's a running joke. The reason for this is because when they were babysitting him he found Koda's white rabbit in the common area. Since he mimics other people, he started hopping around the common area with his arms in his chest like a rabbit on his high legs.

This was when I was out buying stuff for the concert. They sent me a video of him staring at the rabbit on the table. Every time the rabbit hopped, Deku would hop a minute late. It was very funny. So they started calling him bunny as a less darker nickname that still was a joking one.

Everyone went to bed. Motu and Patlu has to sleep on the couch in the common room. Once morning rolled around. It was go time.
