I was in shock. There were literally no words other than that to describe how I felt at that moment. Chills racked my small frame as anxiety washed over me like cold water. I had so many unanswered questions that swirled around my head.

I assumed Seth finished reading the note, because I felt warm, strong arms wrap around my body. "You need to talk to me." He was concerned. And he should be, he mentally felt my shakiness through our connection. "W-Where do you want me to start?" He pressed his lips together "let's start from when you were a kid." I closed my eyes and let out a deep breathe. I've never opened up to someone so I guess I'll try it.

"Well, I guess you could say when I was a child, we were a perfect family. There were a lot of things I didn't know, but through my eyes, I felt complete. As years dragged on I started to see the reality of things. My father-" I cringed when I said his name. "He was the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack, he became power hungry, and my mom didn't agree at all of what he was doing to gain more power. He took over neighboring packs, slaving their own to our bidding, and sucked the life power and glamour out of the Alpha, Luna, and Beta of each pack, physically, he was ruthless, but mentally, he was completely unstable and slowly became insane with greed, lust, and power. When my mom tried to reason with him it turned to a raging battle between the two. A fight that resulted in me running away. I've been on the run for quite a while, but when I'd stopped receiving letters from my mom I got worried, and was confronted by my brother, and he told me it was my fault that she was dead and after that our father began corrupting his mind as well."

My hands shook a little as I took a breathe to see if I missed anything, he was focused on me. And only me. Like I was the most precious thing in the world. "You are." He locked his deep blue eyes to my pale lavender ones, I was taken back a moment " W-what. How did you do that?" He snapped out of his gaze "We are connected, Raven. It's called a mind link." I had completely forgotten about that. I pushed my shield up so he couldn't hear my thought for right now, in response I got a slight growl.

I paced the floor quietly. "You know I wont let you give yourself to him." He said with a frowned tone. I almost snapped at him. "My mother is the only family I have left do you understand? I have to save her." He growled sharply "I'm not losing you over this so I won't allow it!" I blasted at him " What the hell? This is MY life, I can do whatever I want!" I turned my back on him, feeling a bit rejected and agitated I ran upstairs and slammed the door shut.

After a few minutes of arguing with Anne I made a decision.  I shoved a map in my back pocket and hurried along when I heard a knock at the door "Raven?" He calmed down  a bit but his voice rose when he heard the window open "Raven open the door." I pushed Anne's begs and pleads to the back of my mind and opened the window as far as I could "Raven don't make me break the door!" I looked down from the window and just as I jumped I heard a loud bang and metal clank the hardwood floor.

I landed on my feet and I yelped. "Fuck!" I cringed and I new I did something to my right leg. "Fuck Fuck Fuck." I got myself on my feet and groaned. Anne definable was satisfied. Told you so.
