I took a step back but I easily hid my emotions "Well isn't this a nice surprise bother?" His lips curled into a sly grin "Where have you been? Our pack has been looking for you." he asked with a devilish tone.

"I have been busy and besides I have enough school work to keep me on my toes all week" I replied, grinning sarcastically.

"Well you know what the rules are, I have to take you back". He replied back, staring at me with his green eyed gaze.

"Oh but I have to go to school tomorrow so I kinda can't." I shot back.

"I don't really care" as he said it he took a running start at me, ready to attack when a dark brown wolf pounced on him and took a jab at his ribs. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah I'm fine", as I said it I glared down at my injured brother and ran as fast as I could in the opposite direction hoping I would lose track of both of them and did for now when I found shelter in my willow tree and hid in the shadows to try and calm down and get some rest.

The next morning, I woke to the smell of fish and looked up to see the brown haired wolf running and he shifted to his human form behind a bush.

I slowly got up and trotted away from the area, back to my flat and shifted inside and put some clothes on before coming back, I sat at the tree line and contemplated a bit about yesterdays events before I went back to my willow.

As I walked down the hill I saw the guy from yesterday sitting down by the stream. I pressed my lips to a line and  decided to approach him.

"Whats your name?" I asked softly. he flinched slightly, I guess he didn't hear me come down, none the less he quickly responded "Seth, what about you miss-I-have-a-super-crazy-brother-and-I-like-to-think-I-have-a-kick-ass-attitude-and-I-skip-school-cause-I'm-a-rebel. I burst out laughing at his comment. Never have I ever heard that from anyone.

"My name's Raven. I sensed something about him, something mesmerizing. "And your to blame too, since when do you skip school?" He grinned "Since when do you live in a tree?" I stifled a laugh at how weird it sounds, " Hey I grew up in that tree" as I said it I stared half gazing at my home. I shook my head and sat down next to him.

"So why are you down here anyway I don't usually see you down here" I asked. "It looked peaceful here so I thought I would stay here for a while" he said staring at the water.

"So do you live around here?" I asked persistently. "I don't really have a home" he said bluntly. "I live with my pack of course, but to be honest, I only stay for their protection." I really couldn't help myself when my wolf overtook me and asked this question "Do you want to come stay with me?"

His eyes seemed to light up at the question but he hesitated before asking as if he was imposing "If you wouldn't mind?" I smiled brightly at him while on the inside I was mentally kicking my wolf in the ass, what was it with him. No boy has ever caught this much of my attention before.
