"Did you think you're the only one like this, Allen?" Katya teases with a grin, pulling down the lower lid of her right eye to show off the black and red that have overtaken the usually aquamarine colour. "You thought you were the only one Cursed and to be born as a Parasite? How utterly adorable."
"But how...?"
"You may be known as The Destroyer of Time to many, but you'll always be 'brother' to me. We're a lot alike, you and I, so I may as well call you my brother."
Allen stares at her in complete disbelief, his mismatched eyes flickering between seeming to know her and not knowing her at all. Beside him, the nonchalant one known as Yu Kanda narrows his eyes at the newcomer in their midst, not entirely sure as to whether she's to be trusted given she's an unknown. From the other side of Allen, Leenalee Lee, the younger sister of the scientist Komui Lee, tilts her head and assesses Katya with a critical eye, noting the beastly nature of the older girls' Parasite Anti-Akuma Weapon.
Lavi, the least concerned of the quartet, waves cheekily from where he stands off to the side of the other three. "We'll have time for proper introductions later, but my name's Lavi!"
Katya's lips quirk into a grin. "The apprentice Bookman - and member of the European Branch of the Black Order - previously known as Deak, I believe? How delightful. It's going to be interesting getting to know you indeed."
"How'd you...?"
"As you said, more time later," Kanda interrupts, unamused at the conversation between the pair. "Right now, we're quite preoccupied."
