6 ~ Nikki & Fundy

Erets PoV
Wilbur arrived from lunch break. Over the moon with joy.

"Good afternoon Wilbur." Eret greeted formally.

"Hey Eret, Y/N. The institution decided that you will meet two other SCP's. They'll be heading here soon." Wilbur explained.

Eret didn't really like this new information.
Y/N sensing Erets distress, hugged him.

"I'm sure We'll be fine Eret." Y/N tried to reassure him. Playing with his hair with one hand, hugging him with the other. The sliding door was opened and two new doctors came in. Eret watched their every move as they spoke to Wilbur.

"Hey Will. I'm pretty sure the butterfly SCP is stalking us. It's watching our every move." The fox Dr. spoke unnerved.

"Oh! Right he'll want to talk to you. Come on in." Wilbur opened decontamination and waited for his friends to enter. They exited into the tundra cell. Eret stood up, helping Y/N stand up and he guided her to the meadow. Where he sat her down for safety measures. Even though she was surrounded in a extremely deadly gas it was better safe then sorry. Eret walked over to the three Dr's.

"Good afternoon. How are you today?" Eret asked.

"Oh, Hello! I'm doing fine thank you! Love your wings, so pretty. How was your day?" The pink haired one replied in a kind, sweet tone of voice. Eret turned back to Y/N who smiled and did a small nod.

"...oh good afternoon to you too, great thanks." the fox one responded. By his tone of voice he was nervous and worried he would stuff up. The fox one was feeling self conscious right now. Eret turned to Y/N who tipped her head sideways in a confused manner.

"I'm doing great thank you both, if you don't mind I'll head to my friend now." Eret flew over to Y/N landing softly next to her. The group of doctors walked up to the edge of the flower meadow watching the two talk about the new doctors. In the end Eret decided to trust the pink haired one and stay cautious of the fox one.

"Excuse me? Could I meet your friend? I'm Nikki by the way." Nikki asked

"Oh yeah... me too!" The fox added. Eret walked up to the three and softly grabbed Nikki's hand.

"Nikki can, the fox can't, and my name's Eret." Eret explained. In the middle of the meadow of nightshade was a large boulder. Big enough for two people to sit on it. So technically someone could visit the meadow without dying.

"Why can't I? That's absurd!" The fox wasn't happy with Eret's decision. Eret let go of Nikki as Wilbur guided her away from Eret and Fundy. Eret flared his wings, the light from the Nightshade spores lighting them up.

"If you do not approve of my decision, leave or deal with it. But there is a third option. Try to push against my decision and face major consequences!" Eret was not having it. Fundy backed up until his back hit a tree. He tried to push Eret away by his wings but his hands sizzled as he touched them. The wings were burning him yet his hands were numb. Erets wings had acid that coated them to protect them. This acid destroys nerves so it numbs you while severely burning them. This was not known of until now.

"I see you chose 3." Eret stepped back releasing his wings from the foxes hands.

"Fundy!" Nikki shouted out she headed towards Fundy to comfort him. The palms of Fundy's hands were severely burnt and bleeding quite a bit. Eret walked back to Y/N who was by the stream that travelled by the boulder. He sat by them and relaxed as Y/N began to wash off his wings with the cool liquid. Eret stretches his wings out. Flapping them a few times to dry them off.

Nikki was confused. How could an SCP that was so nice to her be so cruel to Fundy for wanting to meet his friend. Then she realised. Y/N's flower crown, Eret guiding her. Y/N feeling everything around her, jumping at slight sounds around her. Y/N is blind and by the looks of it, Eret is extremely protective of his friend. It also explained his judgement. The only thing confusing Nikki now was why Eret didn't trust Fundy and why he trusted her. What did Fundy do to seem untrustworthy?
