66 ~ The Rift

"I have some interesting news," Eret fiddled with his hands at the door, not looking away from Y/N, "Sapnap is back, I don't know how, but he brought back a few kids, and..."

"And?" Y/N implored Eret to continue, resting her hands atop the papers on her desk. The circlet glinting on her head.

"He also brought Technoblade."

Y/N stood up at once. Staring Eret in the eyes.

"Where is he?" She demanded, before turning back to Niki "My sincerest apologies Niachu, but I have matters to attend to, would you like to continue this conversation tomorrow?"

Nikki nodded with understanding, "Of course Y/N, go see your friend."

Y/N have Niki a polite nod before following Eret out of her office.

They flew to Foolish's Medbay, Y/N slamming open the door as she entered.

She noted the concerned looks on Wilbur and Foolish's face as the ghost checked over the children.
There were three of them, one was like a sheep, another based off a spider and the last one was like techno, but seemed to have the undead disease. And had already lost his eye to it. Y/N looked at that child with slight pity.

She then turned to Sapnap, who now had bird wings which glowed like a phoenix's would.

"Hello Y/N, how are you?" He asked politely, from his spot, sitting in one of the medical beds  as Foolish checked him over.

"I'm fine thank you, and you? It's not everyday you comeback from the dead. Though perhaps you just got gravely injured." Y/N responded, making eye contact with Sapnap. "Although I do recall the others saying you'd been shot in the head."

Sapnap looked at her, "Its also not everyday you regain your sight. But yes I did die, luckily for me the goddess of death was feeling gracious." Y/N nodded.

"Very lucky indeed," she looked at the other bed occupied, on it, held Techno, strapped down with leather as a safety precaution, yet his arm was uncovered now and the vines were visible.

Y/N cringed at the sight of the damaged limb, "These are Badboyhalo's vines," Y/N noted. She walked to Techno's side, "I am sorry they did this to you, friend. Allow me to hopefully prevent this from happening in the future."

Y/N administered the vaccine to Techno. And placed a hand in his hair. Now he was merely sleeping.

Foolish, who was previously silent, spoke up. "Sooo anyone heard anything from Tommy recently? Do you think he's in trouble?" The golden god had a concerned angle to his brow.

"I am not sure, Wilbur would you mind checking on him?" Wilbur nodded, and gave Y/N a mock salute as he dove into the wall.

"Is it possible to remove the vines? It looks painful." Sapnap queried.

"I mean- I could try. But I don't know what the effect on the nerves would be, considering it's intertwined to them." Foolish was skeptics, he glanced at the vines again, how long had they been like this? Was the wound infected?

"We could remove them in the same way I removed the infection chips." Eret offered. Y/N nodded, agreeing immediately.

"I may not have seen it happen but it did work." She explained her agreement as she summoned a nightshade flower in her hand.

Eret took a spore and slowly burned the edges of the vines off as well as the surface of the chip.

He then continued to remove all the vines and the chip.

Kristin had faith in Phil and Sapnap. Drista had her eyes set on Tommy, clearly showing an interest in the mortal.

"So... are you going to give him an offer?" Kristin asked, her voice echoing around the void as she sat with her sea of crows.

Drista smiled, twirling her trident 'FORK' in her hand absentmindedly. "I was certainly considering it,"

"You could give him a fork if you really wanted to, I know how you think." Kristin said, petting a crow lightly.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. I kinda wanna see what he'd do with some explosives though," Drista smiled cheekily.

Kristin smiled at the younger god of trickery. Of course she would want to see what the young phantling would do with some explosives.

The void shook for a moment.

Both of the gods paused, earthquakes did not occour here, what was going on.

The air to the left of both of the gods rippled and glitched, a red tear appeared and two claws found perches on the edges of it. They appeared to be trying to widen the rift.

Kristen stood, summoning a staff in one hand. It was ornate, carved from an ebony tree, a sash was tied near the top, with a bird skull hanging from its end. There was also a hardcore heart ingraved beneath the sash, glowing slightly.

Drista stopped spinning her trident, and held her 'FORK' more defensively.

The rift snapped open and a dark red creature with four skeletal wings stepped out of it. Red eye symbols floated about it. And it's jaw of teeth were stained.

The form shifted, into a more humanoid look.

And the two gods immediately knew who it was.

Phil was getting closer, that he knew the heart glowed brightly yet, he'd been circling this mountain for ages. Sighing, Phil knew he had to do this the hard way.

Adjusting his bucket hat, Phil made sure it was secured. Before spreading his wings and lifting off.

Beating them strongly for a moment Phil, took the time to check the land below him. Still keeping the heart in hand.

He flew to the top of the mountain, and saw a valley within it.

No wonder he'd been circling it for a while, they were inside the mountain.

He began to make his decent. Noting the watchtower beside a cave, and the small village being built.

It was beautiful.

Honestly wouldn't get much more of this done without your comments. Anyways I wonder what that new creature is? I wonder what is going to happen to Techno?
