Avatar 'The Night Watcher'

Chapter 3

Ok sorry it took me so long to get back into the game.

I've been working on a lot of shit to be honest.

I'm trying to get into the grove of writing again, starting with this book since i haven't shown any love to it.

???'s POV.

It took me a like bit before I cot back up with two. But I stayed out of sight as I noticed more na'vi approaching fast. I watched as they quickly took out the strange na'vis feet out  from under him. him falling hard onto the ground. He was quick to cut off the rope wrapped around his ankles but was to late as they surrounded him. I frowned as they armed their arrows at him, I was about to shoot my arrow at the leader before the princes herself jumped in an saved the day. I huffed gently as I lowered my bow. 

I watched as they spoke and soon started to take the stranger  to the home tree. I followed a short ways tell they entered, I leaned on the tree I stood in as I watched them disappear into the crowd inside. I looked up the massive tree that stood in front of me, I have never been this close to the tribes home tree before. I stared at it amazed by the size of it but I turned my attention back to where I last saw the stranger. 

I could hear arguing inside as I listened closely, I frowned as I looked at home tree not sure of what to do now. I then turned back to the jungle as I called out too Quickwind using animal sounds I've trained her to come too. I waited a few moments before I heard her running close by, I smirked as I called her once more and she stopped below where I stood. She looked up at me as I hopped down and landed on her back.

I gently rubbed her neck as I connected us as one "I know we are close to the tribes home but I must know who that Na'vi is and why the spirits wish for me to protect." I rested my head against hers as she snorted gently. She then turned her head forward as she ran forward slightly, I made Quickwind stop at the entrance she stood on her back legs an roared loudly making everyone turn and scream in fear as she dropped back down. I straightened up as I looked ahead making Quickwind slowly walk forward, her hissing as she made the tribe clear a path to the center where the leaders stood.

I stayed on Quickwind's back as she turned to her side slightly as I looked to the leaders. Quickwind growled lowly as the tribe worriers aimed their weapons to me and her. "Claim Quickwind." I said calmly as I rested my hand on her head, she calmed quickly as she looked back to me. I gently kicked her side telling her to kneel down, she knelt down and I slowly hopped off as I looked to the leaders. I stepped forward as I knelt down on one knee and lowered my head to them in respect. "I mean you no harm great leaders, I come to you in peace." I spoke to them as I lifted my head slightly.

I knew most were staring in fear and awe, no one had been able to tame Quickwinds kind. Let alone be near one and survive an encounter. "You are not welcome here 'Night Watcher', why do you come here?" I looked up as the Queen spoke to me, I slowly rose to my feet. "The spirits have given me a mission." I said as I stood tall showing no weakness as Quickwind stood at me back watching them closely.

"And what is this 'mission?'" the king asked stepping to his queen's side. I looked to him for a small moment before I turned my head looking for the stranger na'vi, my eyes quickly landing on him. 

"Too protect this 'Sky Na'vi'."
