   Sykkuno watched as Corpse stood halfway into the classroom, halfway out. 'Is he okay?' Sykkuno thought, but quickly shook the thought out of his head. 'Stop. Just stop worrying. You don't even know him!'

   Sykkuno bit his lip as he realized Corpse was frozen. Mini panic attack perhaps? Sykkuno knew them too well. Without thinking, Sykkuno grabbed Corpse's hand. Corpse flinched, but said nothing as Sykkuno led him to an empty chair. Corpse sat down willingly, and watched as Sykkuno walked to the other side of the room.

   'Darn it. Why'd I do that? I wasn't thinking, I really wasn't this time.' Sykkuno cringed, as he remembered Corpse flinching. 'He didn't expect me to help him..' Sykkuno realized again, putting his hands on his face to cover it. Sykkuno couldn't tell if Corpse was still watching, but he hoped he wasn't.

   Sykkuno sat up straight, and smiled as the teacher walked in. He knew that some people hated being the teacher's pet but Sykkuno didn't mind. It came with many perks, such as easier homework, less punishments, and really just being on the teacher's good side.

  Sykkuno blinked as he realized the bad side. Bullies. Not just one or two, but the whole school would be at his throat. Sykkuno felt his ears twitch, as he looked around the room then back to the teacher.

   "Hello class! I am Mrs. Avery!" She said her tail swished once, then laid back down calmly. "I haven't seen this many cats freaks in one class in my entire life!" A voice called from the doorway. Sykkuno flattened his ears, dang it. Him again.

   Sykkuno looked over to Corpse, but he was still looking at his desk. Sykkuno looked back at the student from the door. 'Cole.'

   Cole had small devil horns, and a thin tail to go along with them. One of the highest classes. 'Here I am. In the lowest, most common class.'

   Cole glanced over to Sykkuno and smirked, waving his hand towards him. "Hey kitty kitty!" He said mockingly, as Mrs. Avery's tail fluffed out. "Cole, even though you are in a higher class doesn't mean you get to bully my students." She hissed, as Cole rolled his eyes.

   "Fine, fine. Just came to drop off a paper." He said, smiling. He walked over to Mrs. Avery, and whispered something in her ear. Sykkuno felt his anxiety rise, as the teacher's ears twitched in surprise.

  Finally, Cole laughed then hopped out of the classroom. Sykkuno grasped his scarf, and pulled it over his mouth. 'Don't come back. Please don't.'

   Sykkuno felt hot as he noticed Corpse looking over at him. Sykkuno closed his eyes tight, then took a small breath of air as he opened them once again. The teacher was still talking, rambling on about what they were to expect from her class.

   Sykkuno couldn't listen. Seeing Cole had reminded him of what he was to expect this year. Sykkuno rubbed his eyes, and let out a small yawn. The whole class turned to him. He felt eyes everywhere. 'Shoot.'

   Sykkuno slunk back in his chair as the teacher continued, "Everyone, eyes back to the board!" Mrs. Avery said cheerfully, noticing how uncomfortable he probably looked. Corpse still was looking at Sykkuno, his eyes narrowed so Sykkuno tried not to notice them.

   Sykkuno's eyes felt heavy, and the rest of class was really just a blur. Sykkuno tried to stay awake, 'shouldn't have stayed up all night watching anime..' Sykkuno thought, feeling a small grin come across his face.

   Sykkuno pulled his scarf up higher, he didn't want anyone to notice him smiling for absolutely no reason. Corpse was looking at his desk once again, playing with a pencil from his backpack.

   Sykkuno looked back at the board and waited for class to end. Mrs. Avery was still rambling about random facts about her. Sykkuno felt his eyes close, as he put his arms on the desk.
