   Corpse sat and waited by an asleep Sykkuno for Rae to show up. Sykkuno was lightly snoring, his hand hanging over the side of his bed. Corpse sighed, noticing how pale he seemed to be.

   'This can't be because of the blonde dude.. It's not like he can MAKE Sykkuno sick right?' Corpse thought trying to recall what the boy murmured. "Sick.." Corpse muttered out loud.

   Sykkuno shivered a bit, before rolling over a bit. Corpse didn't like this. The boy that was hurting Sykkuno HAD to have something to do with him being sick right? 'Right...?'

   Rae blasted through the door, then put her hands over her mouth as she saw Sykkuno. "Is he dead?!" Rae whispered, as Corpse narrowed his eyes. "What? No! He's just tired I guess..."

   Rae exhaled and walked over to Sykkuno, "Gosh.. He's so pale!" She muttered, putting her hand on his forehead.

   "Sick." Rae confirmed, then looked directly at Corpse. "W-What?" Corpse asked, as Rae pulled out a red book. "Has Sykkuno been near any.. Devils or Angels? Well, besides me." She asked, patting Sykkuno's back softly.

   Corpse nodded, "Yeah- Some dude with blonde hair and blue eyes." Rae rolled her eyes, as Corpse noticed how fast his own heart was pounding. "Cole. He probably casted some sort of spell on Syk.."

   "So that's his name. He may have punched Sykkuno a few times.." Corpse admitted, as Rae pulled out a bright pink tulip. Corpse put his tail around Sykkuno, as Rae rolled him over carefully.

   Sykkuno's eyes fluttered open, and put his hands over his mouth. "R-Rae! Oh Jesus what are you doing here?" He asked as Rae put the tulip on his head, in between his brown cat ears.

   "What are you doing?" Corpse scoffed, as his tail fluffed out. Sykkuno's face turned a bright shade of red, as he noticed Corpse's tail wrapped around him.

   'Oh shoot. Is he uncomfortable?' Corpse thought, as Rae crushed the flower on Sykkuno's head. She murmured a few words, before the flower disappeared. Sykkuno yawned, "What happened to the flower?" He asked, putting his head on Corpse's shoulder.

   Corpse tensed, then smiled under his mask as Sykkuno closed his eyes again. Rae took Sykkuno off Corpse's shoulder, and placed him back in bed. "He'll be tired for a few hours, and may get sick a few times but after he'll be back to normal!" Rae reassured, as Corpse widened his eyes.

   "D-Did you do magic?" Corpse asked, as Rae nodded. "I'm guessing Cole cursed him." Corpse flattened his ears back, 'i'll kill him.' Corpse thought growling softly. Rae put her hand on Corpse's back, before getting up.

   "If you need any help call me! I can drop by your guy's class to tell your teacher Sykkuno's sick." Rae said, and smiled. Corpse nodded, "Thanks Rae, I'm sure Sykkuno would appreciate it."

   Corpse watched as Rae left their room, closing the door carefully. Sykkuno was still halfway awake, staring out the window probably admiring the bright blue sky. 'He needs rest.' Corpse thought, as he got up to close the blinds on the window.

   "Get some rest Sykkuno, you obviously need it." Corpse told him softly, as he picked up a stuffed bear on the ground that he assumed was a childhood toy. He gently placed it next to Sykkuno, and walked over to his own bed.

   Corpse looked back at Sykkuno from his bed, 'he's so cute..' Corpse shook the thought out of his head, focusing back onto his phone. 'He's just a friend.. A cute friend..' Corpse plugged in his Spotify, and put in his earbuds.

   -Time skip, couple hours-

   Corpse was woken up by a door closing, he rubbed his eyes and looked around. Sykkuno wasn't in his bed anymore, 'maybe he's feeling better..?' Corpse highly doubted that. Rae told Corpse on text that he should feel better by tomorrow, not today.

   "Sykkuno..?" Corpse murmured, yawning as he quickly realized Sykkuno was probably in the bathroom. Surely enough he came out a few minutes later, in a new bright green hoodie. He didn't have his scarf on anymore, and was fidgeting a bit as he walked past Corpse to his bed.

   "Sykkuno?" Corpse said again, making Sykkuno jump. "C-Corpse! You're awake!" He said surprised, as Corpse sat up. "What are you doing up so late? You're sick." Corpse saw Sykkuno's ears drop, as his tail nervously swished from side to side.

   "Sykkuno," Corpse repeated for the third time. Sykkuno sat in his bed, and smiled at Corpse. "I-I'm just not feeling well! It's o-okay!" Corpse felt his ears flatten, "It's okay Sykkuno, Rae said this would happen." Corpse reassured, making Sykkuno's gaze drift to Corpse's eyes.

   "I-I'm glad I have friends like you and Rae!" Sykkuno said, his face still was somewhat pale. Corpse watched quietly as Sykkuno hopped into his bed. He stared up at the ceiling, probably unaware that Corpse was watching him

   Sykkuno reached up his hand, and opened it as if trying to grab something. 'Shoot that's kinda cute-' Corpse thought, as he looked at Sykkuno fondly. 'Y-You can think friends are cute, it doesn't mean anything..' Corpse thought again.

   Sykkuno looked up at the ceiling in the same position for a solid twenty minutes, before getting out of bed again to go to the bathroom. Corpse squeezed his eyes shut as Sykkuno walked past his bed, he didn't want Sykkuno to think he was weird for watching him for so long.

   Corpse waited for a few minutes, before getting up to knock on the bathroom door to check on Sykkuno. "D-Do you need anything C-Corpse?" Sykkuno asked, as Corpse slowly opened the door. "O-Oh no, I just wanted to check on you." Corpse said quickly, his face turning somewhat red.

   Sykkuno blinked, then smiled at Corpse. "You're not gonna sleep with your mask on right?" Sykkuno asked, making Corpse tense up a bit. "N-No.. I'm not tired yet though." Corpse responded, as Sykkuno cocked his head.

   "I um.. O-Okay.. Y-You shouldn't be in h-here though." Sykkuno said, clenching his fists as he looked down from his sitting position. Corpse's ears folded back, "You're not feeling any better?" He asked, as Sykkuno shook his head.

   "K-Kinda worse.. It's okay though!" He responded, as Corpse sighed. "I have nothing else to do." He said, as Sykkuno's face turned red. "Y-You could do something productive or-" His voice led into coughs, making Corpse jump back.

   "S-Syk?" He asked, stepping forward to face Sykkuno. "N-No it's okay Corpse.. Just I-I don't think you shoul-"

   More coughing. Corpse got the memo, he looked at his feet before walking out the door.
