"i'm back!" i hear her voice from downstairs.

a few moments later i hear her footsteps coming up the stairs
quick! wipe your tears and fix your makeup!
i quickly grab out a tissue and wipe my stained-mascara cheeks. unfortunately not all of it comes off, but it blends into my foundation so it looks half-decent.

"hey im baack!" she says
"oh hey! how was it?" my voice cracks in the middle of the sentence.
"eesh it was fine, it was just a couple of errands i had to run- wait what time is it?"
