"So Deku, what are you here for?" Uraraka asked.
"What do you mean?" Deku asked.
"What career are you studying?"
Deku froze up.
He and Uraraka had been talking all through the day.
Deku had learned a lot about her. Her favorite stuff, likes and dislikes, and her story.
She wanted to have a career that could make a lot of money. Her family was poor and she wanted to help out her parents. This means she technically didn't have an already chosen career, but that was all the more reason for her to attend the school. Unlike Deku, Uraraka was good at a lot of things. This means she had dozens of careers she could choose from.
Deku hadn't told her his plan though.
His "Hero" plan.
He was hoping to avoid it. He doesn't want to scare her away.
"Umm...." He stammered .
"You can tell me!" She said sweetly.
Deku was conflicted. He could lie or he could tell her the truth.
He's going to lie.
"I'm going to become a hero!!!!" Deku shot out.
Fffffffffffff-shoot.
Ochako blinked. "Hero?"
Deku silently cursed himself for telling her.
"Y-yeah. I want to be someone that people can trust and look up to. Someone that can calm millions by simply saying 'I AM HERE!' I want to solve problems all across the world. Create an ideal world. "
Deku blushed.
"Sorry, I know it sounds a little stupid."
Then he felt something.
He looked down.
Ochako was holding his hand.
He looked up at her. She had a wide smile on. Her face was flushed. She looked at Deku with incredible compassion.
"It's not stupid. You saved my dad's life."
