Hey guys, this is my first fan fiction ever so any feedback is much appreciated!

This story is one that is a bit out there and I was never sure on the idea at first but my friends encouraged me to write it so here we are.

Most of the characters belong to J.K Rowling and not me!

Enjoy :)

Wow it's been a while, sorry guys life kind of ran away with me. But I'm back ;) and before I start to write anymore I'm going to go back and rewrite the first 7 chapters and republish them as I go! Thank you if you come back and reread but I won't be offended if you don't <3 x

I woke up with a start, heart racing, eyes watering, again. This has been happening more and more, the longer Im home, I just can't escape it. I check my clock and it's 6am, I might as well stay up now and watch the sunrise. I sigh as I pull the covers off me, pull the curtains back and climb onto my windowsill.

The sky was clear and already beginning to brighten up and become more of a navy blue than charcoal black. I hug my knees into my chest gazing out over the garden, I start to smile subtly as it hits me.

Today I go back home.

The sky started to glow a gorgeous orange colour and it filled me with warmth, every day starts so beautifully. The sun began to creep up behind the trees and glowed more yellow than orange, I checked my clock again, 6.30, where did the time go?!

I jump down from the windowsill and grab my towel from my draw, deciding it was probably best to have a shower now so I could let my hair dry naturally and let it go wavy. I walk into the en suite and turn the shower on checking the temperature with my hand, it was perfect. I step into the shower and let the warm water run over my skin, I felt alive.

After my peaceful shower, I hop out and wrap the warm towel around my body. I open the door and step out into my room to find a cup of tea on my bedside table with a note that read 'Love you, Dad.' I smile and bring the mug up to my lips but instantly put it down again, too hot.

I carry on getting myself ready, I dress in a red shirt with a black top over it which has a daisy embroidered in the centre of it. I pull on a white pleated skirt and then pause to consider tights or socks, I decide to wait and watch the news to see what the weather will be like on the news.

I pick up my tea again, in Goldilocks phase, just right. I put my slippers on and head downstairs to the living room from my loft room, it used to be my parents, but Mum didn't want to be there after everything happened, so I moved up here instead. Just like every year, Dad was sat on the sofa watching the news.

He turned around to face me as I creaked the door open, "Morning Poppet, the weather should be on after this" I love that he always knew, maybe he's more of a wizard than a muggle

I smile, "Thanks Dad, and thanks for the tea" I smile softly as I lift the mug to cheers the air and make my way over to the sofa. I finish my tea and wait for the weather.

"What time do you want to go?" Dad asks.

"Well, its at least a 2-hour drive, without traffic, so maybe 8.30?" I reply.

Dad smiles, "sounds good to me, we have about an hour to make sure you have everything and you're ready to go." I whip my head around to the TV as the weather is introduced. The lady explained that it would be 20*C with a low of 18*C.

Socks will do then.

I smile and nod to Dad and run back upstairs to finish getting everything together.
