chapter 2

we had been on continuous missions infiltrating hydra bases looking for the tesaract that was stolen from shield during it's fall when bucky took the girls when we found out bucky was alive but dead inside due to hydra as he became the winter solider. 

"lyra do you want to train" steve asked knocking on my door as if he was going 'to sing do you want to build a snowman from frozen "you're a dork steve and is that a question you need to ask" i joked making him laugh and quickly opened the door and punched him square in the jaw causing him to fall to the ground. "so sensory fighting practice come on steve" i said and dragged him to the high tec gym that stark built making me smile widely and we went to the denigrated locker rooms and got changed as i put on a sports bra and running shorts and red ombre nike running shoes. 

i stepped into the ring and put a blindfold on steve "ok the point of this training exisies is to trust your instincts to predict an attack so you can fight back blind got it oh and i'm not going easy" i said and attacked him landing a hit to his ribs making him groan so i attacked his other ribs i then dead legged him and kept at that pattern until he cough my punch to the ribs and punched me but i easily dodged. "good your learning again" i ordered and we continued to attack one another until he pinned me blind folded making me laugh "alright let's work on that aim of yours" steve breathed so i grabbed a rifle and went to the firing range and released a clip getting head shots each shot making the clip change like fluid all in one motion not even blinking. 

"ok let's run" i said putting the riffle down and hit the track running until our legs gave way racing one another like typical siblings laughing and joking around we tumbled down to the ground in a heap but we didn't care so we got up and walked to the pull up bars. "ok we have a problem i'm too short" i pointed out annoyed "damn you stark i hate you" i grumbled "steve i need a lift up" i asked as he firmly grabbed my waist which wasn't weird or anything since steve was my twin brother. and put me on his shoulder as i grabbed the bar and steve did the same and we did a competition on who could the most pull ups but once we desired it was too easy we tied weights to our legs and did it that way but we got bored since we have the attention span of a peanut. 

that was when tony voice blared annoyingly over jarvis "when you two super solider are done we have pizza and a message for you" so we fell down from the bars sweaty and disgusting and steve gave me a warm hug "you know the real reason i asked to train" steve stated solemnly "yeah it's natalia's birthday to day" i smiled sadly. 

i went and had a shower and put on pjs and walked to the main area where parties are held to see everyone in pj's sitting around a table with pizza talking so i came in and sat in between clint and steve "let's eat" i said gesturing to the food. after an hour of talking and eating pizza thor slammed his hammer on the table like a court judge "here er here er" i yelled gaining everyone's attention. "presents for little natalia and freya" thor announced showing two small asgardian daggers that had comfortable leather handle grip and Norse runes on it as well as four asgardian balls  "thank you thor" next was tony who got a very expensive toy that pepper pots probably picked out for him. clint gave the girls toy bow and arrows as well a a rocking horse making me smile "it's beautiful clint" i thanked him and nat gave the girls dresses as bruce got them dolls and steve gave me a camera and a few sim cards "from bucky" steve mouthed "the camera is from me so you can continue to capture memories of the girls" steve smiled "thank you really guys" i said and drank my liquor dry than went to bed taking the gifts with me.

i sat on my bed and played the sim cards to see many pictures of the girls and bucky as well as ther first steps on video, teaching the girls russian and valerian, them playing and dancing it was beautiful but it was also heart braking to watch because i wasn't there. another video showed the girls playing hair dresser babbling as they braided bucky's hair causing me to laugh.
