chapter 12

we all met up at the broken down church and defended the thing that would make sokovia drop out of the sky "is that the best you can do" thor yelled at ultron as he made a second wave hit "really thor you just had to open the hole in your face that you call a mouth" i stated annoyed. 

we fought like our lives depended on it as i flipped over the robots and slashed at them as i came out of the flip and ripped them apart with the sword showing no mercy for the metal terrors.

i lost my sword mid way through and tore them apart using my hands cutting them up and all bloody but the cut healed straight away so i ended up with blood and oil on my hands but i was having the time of my life so that became the lest of my worries. we were actually fighting as a well oiled team and it was epic that was when i felt like flying and saw steve "stevie shield" i ordered and ran up to him as he threw me up and i twisted in the air nailing three robots with knives.

  i landed with a roll and got up getting my sword and stretched out kicking a robot and stabbed the one behind me i then got up and charged my guarntlents until they glowed dangerously "everybody get down" i yelled above the chaos make everyone duck down. as i released the energy vaporizing the robots and demolishing the surrounding buildings causing me to collapse but i landed in peidro's arms causing my hood to come off so i patted him on the shoulder "thanks" i breathed and got up.  

"get the survivors to the boats wanda and i'll hold off the attack go" i ordered "lyra not with out you" steve and peidro said at the same time to wanda and i "go i'll be fine" i said and blasted a robot to smithereens and they left. 

i was in the mist of fighting when i got thrown into a wooden board impalpably me with a gasp as blood dripped from my mouth and i gasped for air as she cried out in emotional pain as i struggled for air. when she was done she turned to me and screamed in terror but than ran to my aid and pulled me off the wooden board and put me on the ground and took off my hood and muzzle to see blood trickle out of my mouth. i admit i was scared so i let a couple tears run down the sides of my face as she held me but she then picked me up using her telekinetic vapor energy and ran me to steve then dispersed but dropped me on the ground causing steve to come running to me and cradled me in his arms as he cried as i gasped for air bleeding.

i was then picked up bridle by steve who had tears cutting through the dirt on his face and stepped onto the life boat heart broken carrying his dying twin sister on board it was a very depressing sight to see the captain america have tears running down his face. he laid me down and cradled me close to him and hummed a lullaby that was sung by mama when we were little this song made me feel at peace a calm as i started to slip away to nothingness. 

i woke up in a med bay bed in the helicarrier i groaned awake and was sore all over i turned to the side to see steve asleep so i chucked a cup at his head nailing him causing him to jump awake causing me to laugh but quickly groan out in pain. "lyra you scared me" steve cried as he held me close "sh it's ok stevie i'm ok now" i calmly comforted "what's the damage report" i joked making him sigh. "you punctured your lung" he stated making me nod "you had splinters of wood traveling to your heart with every heartbeat they nearly killed you for good lyra" steve said as tear ran down his face "and one splinter impaled your heart and and y you turned grey with dark grey veins covering you i i thought you were gone for good" steve fragility stated. 

i opened my arms and moved over in the hospital bed as steve hopped in and we just hugged close together like we use to when we were little it gave both of us comfort as i started to cry "stevie i'm scared what if we can't find bucky and the girls and the nightmare i don't think that was a nightmare but a memory that was blocked" i stated scared. "sh it's gonna be ok we'll find them ok i love you little sis" steve sighed.
