At home Natsu and Lucy were cuddling in the dark, watching a movie.
Little did they know Ezra and gray were coming over to invite them on a new job.
Erza Knocks on the door, "shouldn't you be heading over to Natsu's house to get him?" Ezra asked gray.
"Knowing him he's probably in there eating Lucy's food." He joked
"HA! Lucy would never let that boy into her house." She counter, a matter of factly.
"Yeah nevermind, your right"
They didn't have a clue about their relationship, even though it has been two years.
"Who's that?" Natsu asked when he heard the door over the movie.
"Someone's at the door? I wonder who it is..." Lucy commented, curious.
Lucy got up and looked through the peephole
Natsu followed her, again wrapping his arms around her, sighing
"Ooooh crap"
"What's wrong Luce?" Natsu whispered in her ear, concerned.
"Nows not the time!! she said frantically," Ezra and Gray are here!!"
"What why?"
"How am I supposed to know!!???" She whisper-yelled and nudged Natsu away. "You have to go hide somewhere! Quick! go!!"
"Dammit, why'd they have to go and ruin my time with my girlfriend" He muttered as he walked away.
Natsu went and hid under the couch they were sitting on when watching the movie.
After checking where Natsu hid, Lucy opened the door for her friends.
"Hey guys...what up?" She asked standing at the opened door, hinting that she didn't want them to go inside.
Ezra and Gray didn't get in hint and let themselves in.
Gray plopped down on the couch, a little roughly.
Natsu let out a muffled grunt from under him.
Ezra stood at the entrance, where Lucy was.
"Hello Lucy, Gray and I were wondering if you wanted to go on a new job" Ezra explained "We're gonna ask Natsu if he is wanted to come after we asked you.
"Oh uh. maybe later? I'm really uh tired right now.." Lucy answered, trying to get them out of her house.
"Oh, what a shame, Maybe next time; I'll go ask Natsu."
'Shit' Natsu and Lucy thought at the same time."
Gray grabbed an apple from the bowl of fruit in front of him. When he bit into the apple, a chunk few out fell on the floor.
"Sorry Lucy, I'll get that-" he said bending over to pick up the apple piece.
"WHAT THE HELL!" Gray staggered back, momentarily startled when he saw a pair of onyx eyes staring at him.
"dammit" Natsu whispered
"What is the reason for your annoying outburst gray.." Ezra fumed, just as Natsu crawled out from under the couch.
Ezra gasped; surprised. She quickly recovered.
Ezra turned back to Lucy, "care to explain why you were hiding Natsu in your house, Lucy?"
"H-hhe hehe...." Natsu and Lucy let out an awkward laugh....
