If there was one thing Jaehyuk loved about working in Castle Crown Café, it's all the everyday stories made there. Not the stories he made, but the stories customers make. I mean, that's the mission of every Castle Crown employee: make every customer's time here and story worth remembering.

Everyday all kinds of customers come by and, unknowingly or not, add another part to their story. Like last Christmas when that guy bought a cold kid a hot chocolate and smiled when the child's eyes beamed in joy, or when those two high school students became friends while doing a project there last week. It's those little stories going on right in front of Jaehyuk which made him love working there.

However, not all stories were wholesome and heartwarming. Like that night when one of Jaehyuk's favorite regulars' story came to a sad turn.

Jaehyuk watched Asahi approached the lonely girl again, asking her if she was ready to take her order for the third time now. A sense of sympathy swept into him once again when he saw the sad and flustered smile she gave the waiter, shaking her head in shame. By the looks of other diners nearby the lady's table, he knew they all felt sorry for her too.

"You okay, Jaehyuk-ssi?" perked in a voice from behind him. Soon Mashiho came beside him from the kitchen and peered where Jaehyuk was gazing at. Noticing who the older was sulking at, Mashiho turned to him again, "She hasn't ordered yet?"

Jaehyuk sighed softly, "Nope, she and her boyfriend were regulars here, but either of them had stopped by for months now. I'm starting to understand why now."

Mashiho jutted his bottom lip in thought and glanced at the female, "Why?" he questioned once again, looking back up to Jaehyuk.

Mashiho was new to the Castle Crown crew, only starting a couple of days ago, but in spite of that, he knew a lot about the regulars already with Jaehyuk being his supervisor. While teaching him how to take people's orders and make the treats and drinks, Jaehyuk would go on telling the newbie of the customers' usuals and their stories, making him familiar with every returning customer who comes through that door even on his first week.
