You kissed my scars
You held me tight
You kept me safe
You stopped my fight
You looked me softly in the eyes
You stroke my pain away
We both knew trust has its price
You begged me to stay
You squeezed my hand on darkest days
You wrote a message every hour
You cheered me up in thousand ways
You gave me love and sent me power
You sat there and listend close
You kept me warm and calmed me down
You dried my tears and nudged my nose
You rubbed my shoulders when i've frown
Dear darling this means much to me
You brighten me up, you give me glee
Sometimes we need to have a "YOU"
We might have fallen, but we also flew
