Author's POV

"Come on baby girl, say 'dada', you can do it" Seokjin said, trying to get you to say dada but you just blew raspberries into the air. Seokjin sighed.

"Baby, look at dada's mouth" Jin put his lips together and hummed "da..da" he said. You giggled loudly. Seokjin frowned and turn off his video.

"Baby, it's not that hard. All you have to do is put your lips together and say dada" Seokjin said. But it seemed to be easier said than done.

"Baby, please~" Seokjin pleaded but you just shook your head and giggled as you saw him sigh in defeat.

You were a joking around kind of baby. Always laughing and smiling at something unless you were in a bad mood which was often rare. That's why you found this all funny.

But Jin was really trying and he was really ready to hear you first word, but you were being persistent.

"Fine. I'll just get another baby to say dada" he said knowing it was going to stop your giggles.

You look up at him and shook your head, tears started to fill your eyes "No? Really? Because you're not even trying~" Seokjin teased.

You cross your eyes to try and look at your mouth "Dwa...doo? Doo dwa.. di-" Seokjin got out his phone and started recording you.

"Say dada, little princess" Seokjin said with a smile, knowing you were actually going to try.

"Dwa..doo.. doo..da...di..doo.. d-da-" you trailed off "You're almost there!!" Seokjin said excitedly, his hands shaking off excitement.

"Y/n say 'daddy'....'da-di', c'mon princess you’re almost there" Seokjin said encouraging you to actually say it.

"Da...da... Daddy!" you finally said it. Seokjin nodded and set up his camera at an angle so that he could hold you "Good job baby! Say Daddy~" Jin said.

"Daddy!" you said it again. Your first word. Jin kissed both of your cheeks and booped your nose.

"I'm so proud of you princess" Jin said And starting dancing around in circles with you in his hands

"Daddy!" you say again and Seokjin nodded. Happy tears starting to fill his eyes. "Yes, yes, daddy" Jin said And held you close to her.
