Third Person POV

Jin threw his head back against the pillow with a groan. He's been awake for hours, while you've been sound asleep beside him.

The ticking of the clock was beginning to drive him crazy. No matter how much time passes, he continues to lie awake, and nothing seems to help him.

Seokjin sat up with a sigh. He brushed his fingers through this silky hair and then hugged his knees to his chest.

He tried to fight off the temptation, knowing that another glance at the clock was gonna do him no good.

But he caved and groaned yet again when he noticed how late it was.

Thankfully he has the day off tomorrow, so it's not like he's got anything he's got to get done.

However, it's his day with you and he didn't want to spend it sleeping away. He considered going downstairs and turning on a movie to entertain himself and ocuppy his time.

But the thought of leaving you pained him and he couldn't bring himself to leave the bed.

Seokjin looked over at you and saw you curled up with the blankets over you while you slept on your stomach.

He didn't see himself falling asleep anytime soon. But even if he didn't knew the warmth of your body and the beat of your heart would soothe him and make his worries disappear.

He scooted closer to you and slipped under your blanket with you, immediately, he was enveloped with warmth.

He couldn't resist laying a few kisses on your shoulder, letting his soft lips trail along your skin ever so softly.

This made you stir and soon your eyes opened. Seeing that the room was still pitch black made you groan. You still had time to sleep and you so desperately wanted to just close your eyes and slip back into dreamland.

But you felt Jin slip his hand around you and brush his fingers along your arm. You quickly realised he was curled up with you, wide awake.

"Jin-ah?" You spoke quietly, his name falling from your lips sleepily. Guilt washed over him, a sad feeling as he wondered if he'd woken you, which was the last thing he wanted.

"Why are you still awake? It's..." you paued and blinked a few times before you caught the time on the clock "Five AM..." you said.

"I'm so sorry Y/n/n. I hope I didn't wake you up. I haven't been able to sleep" Seokjin said.

Suddenly sleep was the last thing on your mind as it sank in that your boyfriend has been awake all night long.

"You didn't wake me up?" you asked as you turned over to face Jin. "There's no need for us to be wide awake and restless. I'm alright, I promise. I'm used to the lack of sleep. It happens often. But I guess I got frustrated, cold and lonely..."

You sent him a sad smile before moving into his arms. Your head fell to his chest and the beat of his heart filled your ears.

Though you felt incredibly sleepy, you didn't let your eyes slip closed. Seokjin was sleepless and your only focus was him.

"Is something on your mind?" you asked as you trailed your fingertips along his stomach.

"Not really. I'm just frustrated. I know I've got no where to be but I was so looking forward to spending my dsy off with you...." Seokjin said.

"We can still do that Jin-ah, even if you fall asleep now or in an hour, we've got all day. What matters is you sleeping. You know you need a rest. You've been working hard" You said.

He nodded with a sigh and leaned his head down so he could pepper kisses along your shoulder and neck.

"It's okay Jin-ah. I've got you, just relax, close your eyes, and focus on me, I'll tell you a story!" you said.

He laughed a little bit and did as you said. He yawned and laid his head on top  of yours. A humm fell from his lips as you started to speak softly in his ear.

Your voice was soft and quiet, much like the caress of your fingers along his skin. Soon, as you continued to speak to him, he fell asleep with a tiny smile on his face.

It was only when he started to snore a little that you realised that he was asleep and the cute sight made your heart melt.

You turned your head to kiss his forehead lovingly and let your lips linger for a moment before you closed your eyes and fall back asleep.

"Sweet dreams Jin-ah. I love you lots" you said, chuckling sleepily when he only let out a few soft sounds in response, leaving you in a warm feeling in your head as you fell back asleep.
