A petite girl sat down, staying in that one small crevasse that she knew, which was exposed in a place called The Nether. In there, there laid a portal, with dark, glistening obsidian holding it together as the purple aura swirled inside of it. The girl could hardly remember what was across the lines of it, as she never went out. A figure she couldn't remember the status of had been taken some time ago by a group of deformed looking pigs that could stand on two legs. She tried to stop them but could not as they just shoved her aside. That person was the only one allowed through it, and only for supplies.

And since no one was now getting supplies, she had gone through the little supplies she did have, and was now facing the consequences of starvation, dehydration along with loneliness. Her vision was blurred by soot and delirium. All she could ever make out was the purple glow of the light and the lava as it flowed through cracks and down below into the oceans of it.

The girl had no clue the last time she had something to eat or drink, but she didn't dare go through the portal. Who knows what lied beyond it. It could be cannibals, or just as bad monsters seeking for human flesh such as hers. Or even worse, nothing.

So as she laid there, with her stomach growling for sustenance and her throat crying out for something to quench its thirst, she knew this would be her end. That must have been so confusing for a little girl. She couldn't have been more then age 8 if that. And no child should have to go through things like this, right?

If only that portal would start to swirl more, as someone who could save the child entered through it from the other side to be thrown right there. If only...

Waking up in a place that was a lot cooler than what you remember is quite alarming, no matter the age. The girl had to register the cool breeze on her face from an open window, and from what she could see in her position, it was so much different from what she was used to. There was no lava, no red hued skies, no grunting of those deformed pigs or blue and red trees. Hell, the sky was blue.

The girl sat up in the bed that was now obvious incredibly big, yet it felt so comforting. Back in the only home she could remember, you had to sleep on the ground. Beds didn't mix well with it, and the closet you could even get to one?

A pile of mushrooms and soul sand and on the rare occasion, string.

The girl looked around, as she grabbed the comforter that surrounded her small frame. She wanted to get out of the bed and look around, but she had to be cautious. Who knows what existed around here. She moved to the corner of the bed and looked down.

She was quite high up but if she threw the comforter down before her, she could soften her fall. So, pulling it from around her to do so, she got an extreme hit of a cold breeze causing her to flinch and tip over forward. Luckily and comforter was still tightly wrapped around her so the fall didn't hurt her too much.

Quickly getting up, she re-wrapped it around her as best she could to block out this wretched air. Finishing it up in a knot to hold it in place, she began to slowly walk around the room, glancing in every direction her head would turn. Everything was shades of blue, minus the gray stone and brown shades of wood. The ceiling however was a pristine white, it almost seems as though it was glowing. The girl looked down to level her line of sight with a door.
