"Where are you taking me?" I smile, looking at him.
"Somewhere you'll never forget."
I nod, and stay quiet, and soon enough, we're there.
"Think you can paddle us in there? I have to get the light up."
I nod again, and take the oars, as he stands and grabs the lantern. I start to paddle, the oars, directly behind me, and we start going the wrong way.
He laughs and puts the lantern down, and walks over to me, and grabs my wrists gently, and starts showing me how to paddle. "Like this. Got it now?" He murmurs.
I nod. "I think so."
He lets go of my wrists, and stands up again.
As soon as we go into the mouth of the cave, Luke reaches up, and hangs the lantern on some kind of hook, and then turns to me.
"Want me to do it, now?"
I shake my head. "No, I wanna do it." I murmur, and smile.
We hit the shore, and I stand up, taking everything in.
The cave was magnificent, it had a small cove where we came in, and at the shore, was moss-like grass. There was a hole int the far end of the cave, with a ladder.
I smile, and look at him. "This is beautiful."
"Hm, reminds me of some girl I know." He mumbles, pulling me close.
I smile, and wrap my arms around him. "Luke?"
"Hm?"
"Do you think my mom's really going to drag me away?"
"I don't know, hon, she is your mom, she has the authority over you." He murmurs, running a hand through my hair.
I nod slightly, and rest my head in the crook of his neck. "Can we swim?"
"Sure, why not?" He smiles, and lightly kisses my neck.
I smile, and pull away slightly, and climb out of the boat, onto the shore, with Luke following close behind.
We pull the boat all the way up onto the grass, and I look at the water.
The water was a brilliant bright blue, that looked like it was glowing at the bottom.
I smile, and look up at Luke. "This is really beautiful, how did you find it?"
"Got lucky," he murmurs, slipping his hand into mine, "more than once." He smiles, looking at me.
I smile, and feel myself blush. "Are you trying to make me look like a tomato?" I mumble.
He grins, and lightly kisses me, and then dives into the cove, without answering me.
I smile, and dive into the water as well, and as soon as I hit the water, I'm fascinated, by how the cool water feel on my dusty tanned skin.
My hair floats up, and seems to have a mind of its own, sticking out in wavy strings off of my head.
I come up for air, and smile, when Luke comes up, laughing.
"Your hair!" He grins.
I shrug, and run a hand through my wet hair. "It's not like I'm trying to impress anyone."
"Oh, you're not?" He smiles, grabbing my hand, and pulling me over to him, and wrapping his arms around my waist.
I smile, and shake my head. "Absolutely not."
He laughs quietly, and nods. "Doesn't matter. You're still beautiful." He murmurs, looking at me.
I smile, and wrap my arms around his neck, which brings my feet off the bottom again, making me tread the water. "Why are you so tall?"
He chuckles, and shrugs, running a hand through my tangled hair. "I don't know."
"Well, you need to get shorter. I tread water when I try to be as tall as you." I smile.
"Is it bad..." He pauses, putting his hand on my cheek. "Is it bad, that I might be completely, ultimately in love with you?"
I hesitate, listening to his words over in my head. After a few seconds, I shake my head. "No, that's not bad at all."
He smiles, and brings my face up to his, and he presses his lips to mine.
I can't get that feeling of butterflies out of my stomach. It feels natural; his lips on mine, but I know it's wrong, because I'm just going to break his heart when I leave.
He pulls back, and I look up at him, and his cheeks her flushed again, like when he kissed me.
My cheeks burn hot, and I know I'm blushing too.
"Why does your mom want to leave?" He asked, curiously, picking me up.
I wrapped my legs around him, and shrug. "I dunno."
He smiles. "See? Now you're as tall as me."
I smile, and nod. "Yeah, so?"
He smiles, and spins me around, and laughs. "You're so adorable."
I feel myself blush, and I look to the hole in the top of the cave.
"What?"
"What's up there?"
He smiles, and looks at me. "Lets go see."
I smile and drop back to the bottom of the cove, and we go back to the shore.
He laughs quietly, and then picks me up and throws me over his shoulder.
"Luke!!" I scream, hitting his shoulder, playfully.
"What? Can't have a little fun?" He drops me off his shoulder, and sets me on the ground, gently.
I smile and cross my arms, pretending to pout.
He pokes my nose, and grins. "Come on we should get you back home, wouldn't want to get you in anymore trouble." He murmurs, pulling me back to my feet.
AI nod, and he leads me back to the boat, where he tells me to get in. I do, and he shoves the boat back out into the water, and he gets in the boat, and starts paddling us back to the beach.
Once we're back at the beach, he lets me out, and follows me back into town, and towards my house.
Once we're at my house, I turn to him, and he hugs me around the waist.
"I love you." He murmurs.
"I know. I wish I didn't have to go."
"Me too."
He presses his lips to mine again, and I wrap my arms around his neck.
He pulls back smiling. "Goodnight, Ana."
