"ILL EXCEPT THE CHALLENGE!" As I walked into 'DOPE SKETCH' I recognized the 3 people having a lively conversation in there.
The blue haired male known as Langa, had just accepted a challenge from the raven headed middle schooler known as miya chinen. In between the both of them was the redhead, reki.
"Stop it! don't get so cocky just because you nailed an Ollie!" Reki tried to reason with Langa.
Wasn't Langa new to skateboarding, that means he learnt an Ollie in just a few weeks he's a fast learner, almost as fast as me.
Miya had this innocent smile plastered on his lips, he knew the teen wouldn't refuse an offer like this. After all going up against a Japanese national team hopeful is the best way to test your ability.
"This guy is a Japanese national team hopeful!" Reki continued pointing to miya. The 13 year olds expression didn't falter and continued observing the blue haired teen.
"I'll do it." Langa stubbornly exclaimed.
"Hey!" Reki leant into his face and continued to attempt reason with him.
"Then it's settled. I'll think about..." miya spoke stroking a fox like creature which looked uncomfortable in his arms, "...What we should bet on!"
After grabbing some skateboarding wheels I made my way to the counter and payed, I made my way to where the boys were standing and smirked,
"Wow~ the new guy who got a little lucky on his first beef is going up against a Japanese national team hopeful!" I sang, a childish grin painted across my face.
"Aren't you that girl who beat shadow a while back!" Reki exclaimed.
"Yup! I'm kawai Rika, 'kawaii' cause I'm so cute!" I smiled, my iconic phrase made the boys sweat drop.
I could feel Miya's glare, it was practically burning holes in my back, I held in my laugh and turned to the boy.
"Did you need something?"
"Yeah! I came here for-" I paused, trying to remember why I was in the store, "Oh yeah! My boards wheels are broken so I need some new ones."
"What colour?"
"Black."
Reki handed me the pack of wheels, I payed and left the store. Miya was outside, leaning against a wall with his phone in his hand.
"Yo!" I yelled running toward the black haired boy, his gaze averting and staring straight at me.
"What now, Rika." He sighed, putting his phone in his pocket.
"I'm bored! Let's go to your house!" I suggested grabbing the boys hand.
