My Cold Forced Husband!

Chapter 4

RECAP:

"Dear, you will be going with Karma to your new home. We will visit you tomorrow. Take care till then honey. I love you"

She hugged me and I immediately hugged back. All of this felt foreign and any sense of security was appealing to me.

Nevaeh POV

I broke the hug and went to sit in Karma's car after giving a warm smile to Mrs.Akabane and waved bye to my parents who were right beside Mrs.Akabane. 

I opened the door and sat in the front seat making sure my dress wasn't sticking outside.

I was mentally and physically exhausted this whole day and my head was hurting so I put my head back on the seat lowering my shoulders to calm my muscles.

I turned to the driver's seat to see Karma in a disgusted face.

There was silence. No one broke it. Although the ride was extremely long I thought numerous times to at least greet the person I will spend the whole life with. But I was extremely tired so I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

After which seemed a few hours I opened my eyes to see no one in the car. I knew Karma was inside already.

"Ugh! How long was I in here?" I said getting annoyed.

I got out of the car and looked at the new house I will now live in.

The house was extremely big. It was illuminated with warm-toned lights and huge windows.

I smiled while looking at it.

I knew Karma wasn't going to come back for me so I helped myself into the house. I was kinda nervous, to be honest.

I walked inside through the hallways. I found the living room I saw Karma holding his phone.

He talked to me directly for the first time.

"Here is your stuff." He pointed toward a couple of suitcases.

I saw a maid of an older age standing next to him so I bowed and smiled.

"She will take the suitcases to your room." The maid got the suitcases and went to put them in my room. 

"By the way your sleeping in another room and not with me." Karma said still playing on his phone.

"Cold-hearted brat..." I said whispering to myself which somehow he heard.

"What was that?" Karma said looking at me.

"Nothing..." I said with a smirk.

I was left alone with Karma and was busy staring at him in a weird manner when he came up to me and grabbed my shoulders roughly.

I winced and tried to make him stop. I put all my force and got rid of his arm but his hand came up to my face grabbing it harshly.

"Let's make this clear. This is forced marriage. I did not agree with this. You are just my wife on papers. Don't try to interfere in anything related to me. We will pretend we are happy in front of my parents but you and this relationship mean nothing to me. Do I make myself clear?" He said still grabbing my face.

I shredded a few tears. As I was going to say something back to him the maid came down with a horrifying expression on her face indicating she saw our encounter.

Karma left my face and went towards the maid.

"No one should hear about this." Karma said leaving.

"Could you please show me my room?" I smiled at her but I know she could tell I wasn't fine. 

After settling down, I went to take a warm shower after getting out of my wedding dress. The one supposed to be special but now ended up looking like an insult. 

"Mom, Dad I left you two and Riku for this? Did I leave my house for this? I hoped for a happy life ahead, but this? Would I be able to continue this for long?" 

I wiped off my tears because I was missing my family already. I showered in a hurry so I could go to sleep quickly and so I could think less.

After a quick shower, I put on my  Pj's:

I hopped straight in bed telling my head to stop the pain.

After all that I fell asleep right away snuggling on my blanket.
